I love lamb :thumbsup2
I'm not a big fan of too much ham.
I do love ham fresh off the bone. Cold. Thin sliced.
Currently I'm craving steak though :lmao:

Think my brother just came home with meat to grill so I'll go investigate. ;)

Traditions with food were mainly maintained with my gran so last ten years things have changed. :sad2:

Congrats Skiing you were the last to post on the girls name thread! Your dinner sounds good.

My plan worked. I'm not going to restart them, anyone may if they like.

I did the number game, alot of us like numbers. It was getting hard to keep doing the repeat of names..

We didn't have our normal Easter either. Our DDIL wanted to start a new tradition this year so dinner was at their place. We had BBQ burgers and hot dogs and all the sides to go with them. The kids had a great time playing with each other and it was a nice afternoon to be outside.

Ohhh.. I love hot dogs with mustard and onions. That sounded like an easy meal. Did you guys eat outside? How was the egg hunt?

We don't have artichokes much either, but only because they are so expensive. These were 2 for $4. Our Strawberry soup was 1 lb for $1 of strawberries and I used about 2lbs and two yogurts at 10 for $6 plus a little milk and sugar.

I also made a sauce of lemon juice, mayo for Fran and then I take some of hers and add mustard for my dipping sauce for the artichokes. I think our dinner came to 3 bucks max for the artichokes and dipping sauce per person, probably $4 for the soup for both of us. That makes $10 for the whole dinner. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I'm stuffed and there is still some of the strawberry soup left. I can't finish all mine and there was too much for two bowls.

It much be nice to have Easter somewhere that has outdoor weather at the same time.

My goal is when I come to the games page, only the LTP thread has the white arrow on it. That way it's quicker to find.

So I don't have to look it up, what does the white arrow mean again?

Our two nieces and nephew hunted their eggs at our place this morning and had breakfast with us. They had no trouble finding all their eggs and found them all in no time at all.

We spent the afternoon outside as their house blocks the wind from hitting their patio so it was very comfortable sitting out there. DH and DS hid all the eggs again so DGS and his five cousins could have another egg hunt.

I like artichokes just like that. with lemon, mayo and mustard.

I'm jealous of your Strawberry prices. I can get them down to $2 per pound.

It is nice to eat outside most of the time. I have pork chops, I think I will grill them this week. Trying to wipe out all the games eh?

It's hit or miss around here on the weather for Easter. The back up plan was to use our house if it was raining. Luckily today was a beautiful day.

I guess this is how they get dropped so many times? :confused3 We only had candy so there was certainly no "rehiding" of the eggs. We got candy inside those plastic eggs, so once we found an egg we stockpiled the candy. I can see where kids would give up actual eggs as I wouldn't want to eat them in the first place, much less after they had been hidden couple times.

I like hiding 50 cent pieces in those plastic eggs. Makes for a great surprise. Thats why most people I know wouldnt eat them.
