So did people hang up on you all night?![]()
Good evening all.
Meet our new addition we will be picking up on March 28th...isn't she cute? We're using our Alaska airline credit to fly to Portland to pick her up.

Either that or I got answering machines, disconnected phones, or people who screened out. The survey I work on is for kids 19-45 months of age, along with another for 13-17 year olds, and a third for any kid under 18. So, basically, it depends on the survey, but most people hang up or screen out.
So do you actually talk to kids or their parents? Not trying to pry into your work privacy agreement.
I thought so, Skiing just came in the door.

The parents. We're legally not allowed to talk to kids about the survey.

The puppy is 8 weeks old now and I hope she grows fairly quickly as our lab is around 100# so quite a size difference for a while. She's in Wishram, WA in a shelter and they'll bring her to Portland so we can pick her up. I had a great conversation with the volunteer running the shelter and she says she's the sweetest one she's come across in a long time.
I figured that you probably wouldn't get very good answers out of 18-45 month olds!![]()
Yeah, considering that we ask about dates and types of vaccinations?
That sounds good, maybe she will get playful and rowdy with a friend to jump on?

That's the response from 90% of the people I talk to, though. My parents have talked about getting another dog so that Delilah will have someone to play with, but I don't think they will. She likes ruling the roost![]()
I doubt Delilah would be happy sharing the spotlight. Our lab on the other hand doesn't like being alone, even the vet commented on how close our two dogs were last time we were in.
She doesn't really like being alone, but I don't think she'd take to another dog in the house.Yeah, probablyThat's the response from 90% of the people I talk to, though.
Are your lists targeted or random? I'd have to say no to you too, except that all our felines have been vaccinated.
Then we don't have to call them again. It cracks me up how many people are like "STOP CALLING ME" and I'm like "Well, unless you say something like 'take me off your list' or get vulgar or abusive, I CAN'T, SO LET ME SCREEN YOU OUT".
It really bothers some of the people I work with and I'm just like
Not my problem. I'm doing my job.
If you say "take me off the list", we're required to do it, even if it's your machine that says it.
