Sorry to all who are so busy! I was caught up all day working on revising a survey that was created for our band. Good intentions, but it would have opened up an ugly can of worms had it gone out in it's original form.

I'm tired. Fran slept all day even though she wanted to go out and do work. I have to go to the market and pharmacy now, then come home and cook a whole turkey.

Sorry, sounds like you have had a busy day. If I would of been near you I would have done your shopping. It sure felt good to get out.

It's not really much of a shopping trip. Mostly pharmacy and gift cards. We need to make some online purchases and might as well get our $20 in grocery points for buying the gift cards.

Then I'm back home to cook the turkey...maybe I'll do it tomorrow. I'm too tired tonight.

I just wish administration knew how hard our jobs really are & gave us the staff we need. Yesterday I had my job & 3 others I didn't have staff for.

I worked in medicine a bit, a total non medical job, helping the admin expand the facilities. I wanted to know more about how the business worked and talked to staff in the whole place regularily.

I came away that hospitals are complete cast systems. Doctors that are paid way to much for too little and not very skilled. Nurses that are mostly awesome, and treated poor by everyone outside of the nursing staff.

If I owned a hospital I would hire a RN or higher that has an MBA in management to run a hospital, rather than strait MBAs or Doctors that climbed thier way from patient care.

Admins just see numbers. There always seems to be discent within the ranks on the floor.

My cousin-in-law's brother was there. He kept Facebooking about it like it was the most magical thing in the world. Must have been pretty awesome for the people who got in.

I think many people were proud to be there, and overshadowed thier frustations. Perhaps these tFB updates where all before nightfall?

I did consider swimming to work today.

Stay dry I hope everything but the rivers is high.

He was posting all night long. It is possible he oversold how awesome it was, since he did a lot of bragging about it beforehand. Or, he really just had a great time despite how busy it was.
