Interesting and pretty much spot on assessment on hospitals.

My mums immediate boss is an RN who worked her way through the ranks.
She has no business training and no idea how things need to be done in mums department at all. Which again she has no training in nor business skills to make up for that.

The boss also has a massive chip on her shoulder in regard to my mum so rather than respecting her. She disrespects her and finds fault where there is none.

It's just ridiculous the hospital bureaucracy.

Plus because mum went into retail for family reasons for so long she doesn't have the official ranking to experience as it's not 'hospital' experience. So had to fight for her pay grade

Ugh.

We fly down and sail on Sunday, I hope I don't have to work Saturday as I haven't even started packing.

Well, at least it is only about an hour and twenty minute flight. You will be ready, and your going to have an awesome time. I am excited and I am not the one sailing.

Is anyone reading (or writing) any good trip reports that I have not started yet? I am looking to read a few more. I would love to read one on Disneyland.

He was posting all night long. It is possible he oversold how awesome it was, since he did a lot of bragging about it beforehand. Or, he really just had a great time despite how busy it was.

I've read a lot of reports and tweets. By far most were complaints and hyper crytical. Of the ones that seemed to just be reporting thier experience, not feelings, I don't think any of the critical ones have been during Christmas Week.

When I was working, the way we got raises was we had to fill out our own evaluation, and then we were still ranked against other managers. There bosses would have to say what there managers did better than I. We would work at least 60 to 70 hrs a week. No overtime. That changed about 5 yrs later when the company got sued and they had to go back and pay every manager over time pay. That was serious money. Then we were told no OT. Talk about not being able to get our jobs done. I really liked my job. But its to If I could do resets, I would .

Have you looked under the DL trip report area? I havent really read any.

I did. There were no titles that popped out at me. I usually either like the title, see that multiple people I like are reading one or see it in a signature for someone I like before I stumble on a new one. I recently started one that had zombies in the title, so I had to read it. I really wanted a Dl one that was recommended. I did not start too many until recently, because I did not have the time. Now that I have more time, I have a lot of catching up to do.

He is the only one I know who went, and I have not read or heard about it from anyone else. As much as I love Disney, partying all night does not sound fun to me. Even when I cannot sleep, I do not have a lot of energy to be uo moving around.

Country Victoria is expecting more rain this weekend. The areas that are flooded will have more rain and there is still more areas under threat from this weekend's expected wet. Another 4 inches or so expected tomorrow.
