London Zoo no longer has as many 'large' or exotic animals as they used to. They recently teamed up with another zoo and some have been moved off site to there. One of the changes has been the changes to requirements for animals in terms of space etc. So as they have refreshed and renovated (although there isn't much evidence of that) the Elephants for example are no longer there.

They do still have some african animals

I know someone else who did a short sale. He was not specific with what it did to his credit, but he did the short sale in 2008. Since then, he has not bought a new house. I hope everything works out and you get your home as early in 2015 as possible. The only way we would walk away is if we literally did not have the funds to pay it. We both believe we signed the deal and should pay if we can. A short sale down the road may happen if we have to leave this market. DH had to sign a pretty heavy non-compete contract to get his current job. If it does not work out, we may not be able to stay in Vegas. It was his only job offer at the time though, so he had to take it. He is liking it so far.

I NEVER pay anything late. Our mortgage company pays our property taxes through an Escrow account. This is in our contract. Despite having the funds there, they were late once. They deducted the late fee from my escrow account if you can believe it. It never would have been late if I was able to pay it myself. Since it was their error, they should have paid the fee themselves. The nerve. During my annual escrow review, they raised my monthly premium to help cover it.

The credit shows a late pay, thats it. They require you to stop making the payments for the short sale. I think its better to show the late pay than a whole default. but we did have a bidding war on the home. I kept it up and showed it. It sold even before the bank said they would take the offer. It actually went for more than what the bank said it was worth. They said 230 thousand and the man who bought it paid 250. It sold in three months. It also shows 0 balance , paid in full. Its not for everybody to do. But thats the bottom line truth of what it does to the credit.

We will be starting on the meats that defrosted tonight. So Prime Rib is on the menu. At least I have a appetite for it right now.

I'm trying to decide if I want to call in today or not. A friend of mine is getting married at 4:30pm and I have to be at work at 4. She's streaming her wedding online, since it's a very tiny ceremony (literally just her, the fiance, their kids, and their parents), and I really want to see them get married. I've been trying to give my shift away, but no one's taken it.

morning! rain/drizzled all night. Seems like we got 1/2 inch of rain. Some parts of country Victoria got 4 inches of rain. It's flooding across the state again.

 Just running out the door. My car needs a service and I'm gonna drop it off early before having to go take DS to school.

At first it looked like 1/2 inch here, but soon 4 inches. Probably lots more snow coming.
