I was only half watching The Mentalist so turned to this. When is it set?
I would suggest they didn't talk...quite so bogan...back then.
As Australian series go not too bad...but...it's a very low bar...

So today I went to "Sydney Tower Eye" which to us locals is Centrepoint tower's Observation Deck.
There was an offer where if you visited during March Sydneysiders could visit for the rest of the year for free. So for $25 I can go to the observation deck any day I want for the rest of the year. It is literally just for the view. But it is pretty cool as I haven't been up here in at least 15 years....except for visiting the revolving restaurant which is one level down last year.

Anyway. It was just a quick lunchtime visit to get the pass and get my pass for the rest of the year. You just show the card and your local ID and you can get a pass up anytime.

Glare wasn't on my side today as it was in the way of shots over Sydney Harbour. But I did my best.

Kerry Greenwood wrote a series of books on Phryne Fisher. As Aussie books go, they have been pretty successful. I think they are set after the 1st world war.

I figured it was worth checking out when the series started about 4 or 5 weeks ago.

But then I like murder mysteries and it is light entertainment on a Friday night.

Sydney has the monorail....Melbourne has the Skywheel.

DBF is GUTTED about them tearing down the monorail...and he likely won't be back here before it gets taken down.

While usually things take years to happen. The NSW Government have bought the company and I don't see them stopping now
He REALLY is upset. He loves that thing...
He is a Disney nerd after all...it's like a little piece of Disney...

It's actually really hard to photograph, and much of the route isn't "Glamarous" But I'll try and think of spots to take pics of it....

We want to do breakfast tomorrow at a local cafe; just us 3.
House cleaning chores after.

Going to my best friend's place for dinner (she's doing a BBQ and I'm doing dessert - trifle and fruit salad).
DS has a friend from his old school coming on Sunday, which means we'll be home.....packing.

Hopefully we'll be home for most of the weekend; rather than running around too much through that revolting door!

At the cafe we were supposed to go to 3 weeks ago

It is an "easy to get to" location for me but it is out of the way...
They are all coming from further away but none of them have any sense of time, traffic and the weekend even though it is the suggestion of one of them having visited before...

So...

Sunday is currently unplanned for me and so I'll try sorting and tidying and getting some stuff sorted for my next trip. And...hopefully sleeping a bit extra...

It does. I WENT there 3 weeks ago. We agreed on 1....then 1:30. So I got there about 1:20.

They were still about 40mins drive away. So I drove back to the local shopping centre and met them there.

It's a Cafe in a Nursery. Smelt AWESOME...but alas we ended up with average asian food...

Indeed....lots of things...
And the Symphony of Lights. It's very very average "show" but I can imagine you taking LOTS of photos from that.

That's part of the appeal of the Crystal Cabin. Assuming it is running similarly without a PACKED car...you can move around to look and take photos. You'd likely get a car to yourselves

A cafe in a nursery.....and you ORDERED Asian??? You got what you deserved.

The best I hope for is good coffee in places like that. I usually just go with tea....afterall, they pour hot water into a pot and hand me the tea bag. How could anyone go wrong with that?
