Good!!

You know me well

I am shy, but he even got me up and singing and dancing

It is a very small lounge, so not intimidating at all

thank You

I accepted

Andrea...are you disneystitch626? I think that was your name on hanging with friends, so I sent a request to that name..hopefully that is you :rotfl:

Yes, I do!!

Glad I could help you both!!

Soooo just how long have you been holding out on us young lady..hmmmmm???

:rotfl: I am so picturing you with a hand on your hip and tapping your foot?

The OMDD winner is watkinsme.

Since this is yoru honeymoon, I vote for Port Orleans Riverside. You can take a boat to DTD at night. The rooms are nice. The grounds are gorgeous....I swear it is nicer than some of the deluxes.

Plus, there is a piano guy named Bob Jackson who plays in their lounge a few nights a week and OMG. he is a riot. You just can't be shy, as he will get you involved :rotfl2:

I was just going to say the same thing -- definitely Port Orleans Riverside or even French Quarter. We like them both a lot!

Oh. Well, I've been doing it since late December;););)

Seriously, I wasn't sure if you all want to be bothered by Disney contests or not...I didn't want to be *that* person who signs all her friends up for stupid stuff.:lmao:

But I should know better -- anything Disney we love!:cloud9:

Sorry!!:flower3:

well the odds are that a lot of DISers are gonna win! :goodvibes

But if the most deserving people would win...it would be ALL DISers because we are all the biggest fans!

ITA!!!

I just wanted to let anybody that didn't notice know that Leah is cancer free!!!:cool1:

I SAW!!!! I'm so thrilled for her!!! Best news EVER!!!! :dance3::dance3::dance3:

I was just lurking, but thought I should post on this. That is sooo great to hear! Glad that she has pulled through!

How is everyone? I promise I will try to post more often and lurk less! I am in the works for planning a WDW trip for April but haven't actually booked yet, so I might need some tips soon if you don't mind!

Good to "see" you Andrea!

Woo Hoo for a WDW trip! :goodvibes

It will be! We haven't told anyone but our parents yet, but we are getting married on Feb 18th. We were going to do it on the 14th, cause that's our anniversary, but with it being a Tuesday, we moved it to the Saturday so my Dad could make it.

And her being cancer free is a great reason to smile!

Aww that is very great! Congratulations!!!

I agree! POR! We were going to stay at POFQ for our honeymoon but it was under renovation so they bumped us up to the Beach Club which I'm not complaining about but I think I would have much rather stayed at POFQ. The grounds are so beautiful. The highlight of BC is the pool and we never touched it. The room really wasn't anything to write home about.

I am liking the sound of Port Orleans more and more. That is probably the one we will choose as long as prices stay the same for the next month.

My Dad has offered to book the trip for us as a wedding present! Very generous of him I know! But he says he won't book it until after we are married, which is fair. So after the 18th of Feb. And I go back to work the beginning of May, so we are looking at mid April for the trip

I want to make some meal reservations now, just because if we wait until Feb, there's some places we might not get to eat at. The top on my list are Chef Mickey's for dinner and Ohana's for breakfast. Those are really the only character meals we want to do.

Does anyone else have any recommendations? We are planning on getting the dining plan that includes one sit down place a day.

For the mods, I like PO-FQ or RS the best.

Now you can also check deals on the 'cheaper' deluxes like Animal Kingdom and Wilderness Lodge to compare prices. They are both really nice too, esp if you like animals and the whole wood/animal/African culture vibe (AK) or the woodsy/lodge/national park vibe (WL).

I've checked on the AK one, and as much as I like it, it's about $500 more per person to stay at, so we probably won't be able to go to that one. Right now the All-Stars, Pop, Caribbean Beach Resort, and Port Orleans Riverside look like the ones we can afford. I love the AK one though, so nice.

Out of those, I'd book PO Riverside today so it doesn't fill up! That's by far our #1 choice out of the ones you mentioned ... particularly for a honeymoon. The values are really nice too but more family focused. CBR is nice as well, but felt a bit more spread out and a bit more hustle and bustle to us.

I never considered that it might fill up by then! I will have to see what I can do to book a little earlier maybe. Thanks for the tips. POR first and then CBR second if we happen to not book in time.

Congratulations!!! :goodvibes :dance3: :yay::yay::yay: :goodvibes :dance3: :goodvibes We love Crystal Palace. I know it is a character meal but the buffet is really good!!

Aww how nice of your dad! But like Marsha said, I would definitely book now. Those rooms go fast in the moderates and values.

As for places to eat we LOVE Coral Reef, Boatwrights (which is on POR property), LTT at MK, SciFi (but some here would disagree with me) and Tepan Edo. We are trying Chef Mickey's on this trip in a few weeks and Crystal Palace and also Cap'n Jacks.

Hi Leah!!! Good to "see" you. How are you doing since the BIG news!? I bet you are on cloud 9!

Thanks for all the well wishes, the congratulations and support!! most of all for ya'lls prayers!!

My scans and labs came back with no cancer showing. You can't see colon cancer by a ct scan so I'll be having a colonoscopy (Oh Joy!!! ;) ) in the next month or so. But the good news is even if there is some cancer left in there they should be able to get it out during my surgery. But since it's not in my blood or anything it's probably not tere!! God is good and I am HAPPY!!! :goodvibes My boys couldn't hardly speak they just kept saying Thank you God, Thank you Lord in high whispers!!! LOL I can't wait to see them and hug them! They just left Tues but I had to leave when thy were still asleep so I missed their hugs although I got them the night before!!!

I am sorry I haven't been on as much but as I recover I'm sure I'll be back to bug ya'll some more!!

Love my Dis Friends!!

That's going to be great!! My Mom took a few months to get over the chemo effects too after her battle with breast cancer. I'm so glad you finally get to feel better!
