Well, as you all know I have had nothing but trouble with Kody's school. Today I finally have gotten some help. It looks as though Kody will be starting doing an independent study program very soon. I am so relieved that I finally got some help.

We're off today for Veteran's Day. My children are PLAYING together! All THREE of them, including the girl about to turn 15. They are making quite the racket! I have no idea what they are doing, nor do I care. I am just thrilled they are doing it, happily, together!

The few times I've heard Howard Stern I felt like I needed a bath in bleach!!


Today my Dad came home from Wally World with a bag for me. In it was a pair of Mickey footed pajamas!! Now I never would have wanted them before bt if you could see how I bundle up now from being so cold they'll be just the thing. My parents are not big Disney fans!! Shocking I know but when he saw Mickey with Relax, Dream, Imagine, and Sing written on it He thought of me so he bought them!!! I thought that was very sweet! He knows Mickey makes me think of Shannon! Today was a much better day for me. I don't post much about it. In fact probably only Chele, My other friend Michelle and my family know but I've been pretty much bed bound in some serious pain. I have been getting up every day and trying to exersize as that helps to combat fatigue and pain as well as I'm losing my muscle tone so I'm trying not to lose more!!!!

I've been using a walking DVD and today I was able to go 2 miles!! I've only had to take half the amount of my pain pills the last several days and today only half a pill so far!!! So Today is a good day. I go back Mon to see if my counts are up enough to do chemo. The Dr has taken some of the chemo off as it makes my counts too low to do anything. Hope all is well with everyone. yesterday was the first year I did nothing for veterans day for my Dad. but today I'm trying to rest enough to go to their community Thanksgiving Dinner. They live in a gated community that tries to do things on holidays. The clubhouse overlooks the water so it's usually pretty neat. I hope I can go as I'm craving Dressing and greenbean casserole!!!

I've been busy getting things ready for Alex's birthday party. I'm making his sign, I found a custom shirt to order finally, I made his invitations and I have another banner I want to make plus something to hang from his high chair. I think I'll be mailing out the invitations next week. I can't believe he's going to be a year old so soon! Where did my little baby go??I I'm so going to cry when we sing him happy birthday. I just know it!

Has anyone on this thread done a Disney cruise? I can't remember...

I know -- it sounds great. And you can use DVC points for the cruise...you don't get as much value for the points, but then again your points include all your meals, and taxes.

Right now we're looking at either Nov 2012 or Jan 2013 to see if we like cruising or not.

You see that's the thing. Everyone always talks about the price but I look at it with the thought that the food is included. That is a good thing.

As you all know I am making Scotty a Richard Simmons costume for a race he is in this weekend. I thought I would share a couple of pictures with you of what I have done so far.

It is so tedious. But I am pleased with how it is turning out! I will show you pictures of it as I get more done and then the finished project.

I caught on to casting pretty quick which is funny as everything says it's the hardest and maybe I'm not doing it right although it looks right but i am having terrible problems with the knit stitch. Of course I haven't really been able to just sit and try and try. I did look at a couple of videos but I was half out of it so tonight when I'mresting I'll try it again. I'm going to get this thing if all I can do is knit potholders!!! Although my goal is to knit flowers to make into pins and clips for my hair, hats and clothes! Icould give those as gifts to later on since they are so in. Itlooks like I'll just be doing the felt flowers for now though!!! LOL

I'm feeling better now Talked to Braeton and he told me he was so happy that he was just feeling God with him everywhere. He said he was thanking God this morning for the pilgrims and freedom and he said he's been happy to be at his Aunt Hollies but he's so happy to becoming home to see me and how blessed he is as a kid to have a great family and how God has given him so many blessings and miracles in his life!!! My NINE year old saying all this!!! One proud Momma right now!!! And it was just what I needed after my emotional outburst earlier I posted about on my blog. i am still tearstained from it but I'm smiling with joy now! I guess my kids do have some good memories after all!!!

Aw I am not so sweet. When I was sick people from all over the world got involved in helping me to heal. I got mail from people I had no clue who they were. I am merely paying that love and faith forward.

Yikes -- he is just not my first, second or 1,397th choice!

I have actually listened to his show ... I admit I laughed at a few things but overall it just always left me wanting to take a shower to get clean again.

I can see how NBC is doing this for the ratings to draw in a different audience (male, young) but I think they may alienate many, too. AGT is already like the #1 show in the summer ...

Legoland was a nightmare

The only cool thing was the mini displays in mini land....they had replicas of NYC, DC, Vegas, etc,. I could have spent hours looking at that.

As for rest of place, OMG....so chaotic. Line were awful. When you finally did get on something, it was so chaotic, that you really didnt get to enjoy it'

Trent did driving school. Like a free for all, kids running for cars and then when they drove, no one really guided them, kids kept getting stuck, going wrong way, hitting each other.....the workers took their sweet time helping kids and was over in less than 2 mins

We did carousel.....30 seconds maybe?

We did some lame Inidana Jones like ride....again lame

I know I looked at the prices -- over $2000!!! Luckily, I can use my DVC points for a cruise ... so with the points I have, we can do a 3 night cruise and 4 nights at WDW and only have to pay for Elizabeth ($300).

So we're going to give it a try...hopefully Jan 2013.
