I've been busy getting things ready for Alex's birthday party. I'm making his sign, I found a custom shirt to order finally, I made his invitations and I have another banner I want to make plus something to hang from his high chair. I think I'll be mailing out the invitations next week. I can't believe he's going to be a year old so soon! Where did my little baby go??I I'm so going to cry when we sing him happy birthday. I just know it!

Ugh I am not looking forward to that. I'm going to be a mess!! Especially if we aren't able to afford the private school we want but I think by then we'll have both cars paid off so we should be able to afford the tuition.

I was fooled by Kacy. I was sure that she was going to cry and not want to leave me on the first day of school. When Laura her teacher came out of the school to get the kids the first day of school she said "Hi Kacy!" and held out her hand and Kacy ran to meet her and never looked back. I cried the whole way home.

You know if I hadn't had three I might have considered it. I think that the companionship and the social skills they learn in kindergarten alone is so important.

Oh They grow so fast!! I remember looking forward to both my kids first birthday. Of course with Braeton we couldn't have a lot of people around and he couldn't eat cake etc... so it wasn't as big as Tylers. But school was very hard for me. With Tyler I had Braeton to take care of and at that time we had 4 different therapist coming into our home almost every business day of the week. But when Braeton went into PPCD at age 3 I about had a breakdown. I couldn't leave. I started volunteering at the school. Had made volunteer of the year by Dec. Started subbing and volunteering in Jan and stayed until I started homeschooling Tyler. This year both are homeschooled and we love it. My sister has always homeschooled her girls. Their are homeschool groups you can join for socialization. Some even have classes they offer once a week. Where they live now they go to a college that has a homeschool day every Wed. They offer PE ran by the college students and then they have several fun classes they offer. Both my boys have went while they visit and they all LOVE it. Plus we are really active at church and meet friends on play dates so they get lots of social activity. Also usually in cities they have all kinds of homeschool days you can take your kids too. Museums, Nasa, Zoo etc... around here. I'm hoping to homeschool for now on. I have met families that have always homeschooled and now the children who are grown are Drs, Lawyers etc... I am a firmbeliever though in actually Home schooling. Unfortunatly and Fortunatly Tx homeschool laws are really lax. You can use whatever curriculeam make your own etc... and they don't really check up on you which allows people to say they are homeschooling when they are not. Which is awful. On the other hand for those of us that really are, we are able to use all kinds of things to help our kids learn and aren't stuck with a certain way or thing.

Thank you all for your love, prayers and support! I did have a better day unfortunatly even with my pain meds I am not sleeping tonight. I won't complain though as I've had several nights of sleep which is ver unusual. I do have ambian to take to sleep but I don't want to use it unless I haven't had good sleep for sev days. I nap off and on all day so I am getting plenty of rest. I walked 2 miles today which is huge for me now so I thought I'd be knocked out but my mind is just a going tonight with silly things so I'm on here instead!!!
Today Braeton went to a family fun day at my BIL job and had his arm painted instead of his face. He had a sword painted on it from his wrist up to his elbow and he was wearing a fight cancer bracelet!!! I just love this child!! It was his idea from what I understood!!! He is with the sister that keeps them the most and who Tyler normally stays with all the time. Tyler is with the sister Braeton stays with more. It's his first time to go to where they live now. They are fivehours away. My sis and her family took him camping at a Dinosoar state park. They have actual tracks there. He loved it!! It helps to know they are both having fun. they left last weekend since I was to have chemo last Mon. Of course I couldn't have chemo and will have it this Mon. they are welcome to come back but neither one likes seeing me as sick as it makes me and I'm sure not forcing them to come see me like that so I'll be without them for a few more days!
My youngest niece is here though and she has been a complete joy. She's easier to care for than any of the others including my own!! She'll entertain herself. She does not barge in my room when the door is closed (that means I'm resting) and everything is when you're better LeeLee we'll go to your house and When YOu're better we'll do this... Of course my Mom and Dad take her whenever they leave since I couldn't sleep with her here and they make sure they take care of whatever she needs. I get the joy of playing with her, telling her stories, singing songs etc.... Good Medicine!!

As you all know I am making Scotty a Richard Simmons costume for a race he is in this weekend. I thought I would share a couple of pictures with you of what I have done so far.

It is so tedious. But I am pleased with how it is turning out! I will show you pictures of it as I get more done and then the finished project.
