I haven't run since last Saturday. I should have gone Wednesday but I went to the boys soccer game instead... figured I could go Thursday. Then I got sick Thursday! Blah.... still feeling worn down from having run a fever. Man, a fever kicks your butt when you get old.

Anyway, I have been surprised at the NEED I've developed to run since I started this 5 months ago. I've heard people speak of this phenomena but have never experienced it before!

1st -- I can't believe the stories you guys wrote from doing the meal in walker and 37 weeks pregnant!!That's just not right.

Sometimes we have gone out to eat and other times we just have everyone break up the duties (one family does turkey, one family does apps and dessert and other family does side dishes ... everyone brings drinks). This way it's easier on everyone.

We are going to PA for T-day weekend and for Christmas, we'll host and I'm thinking of just ordering one of those honey-glazed hams -- everyone loves it and it's just sooo good.

Either way, it's a lot of work in a short period of time so we just divide the duties. Maybe you guys can just tell folks, here is the time we are eating and this is what you need to bring.

I ended up keeping him home as only a 2 day school week. HE was already missing tomorrow, so decided to be on safe side and keep him home and not expose him to any more germs

I actually really enjoy cooking the meal. I just wasn't up to it that year. I swore that this year was going to be a simple meal but I found this amazing recipe I want to try. For my bacon loving friends!!
