What is everyone up to this weekend?

WE went to my sil house last night . She took Trent in the pool, and I Hung out on the deck watching.(Darn AF)

Then we had McD's and Chinese food for dinner.

The adults played cars and they all did shots. I was the only sober one and boy was that fun to watch

I'm assuming they played CARDS and not cars. Or they watched the Cars movie and took a shot every time they saw a car

Rachel is doing them too. 4 days a week for 2 weeks. Thisis now her 3 week and we are seeing some success -- head going under water...jumping in pool...she wouldn't do either of those 4 weeks ago...She just isn't a water person. So I'm thrilled that she is doing those things..



Hi! Long time no see! Tomorrow is Rachel's 6th birthday party and first one we are having with friends. It's Rapunzel themed and I'm having a good time doing crafts for it.

This is so great about Rachel! And Stinkerbelle too!


I can't wait to see all the pics, I'm sure they must've all had a GREAT TIME!!

Our flights are finally booked for next week, and I snagged a Groupon for South Beach Hotel Deluxe Queen View Room for $99 a night.....got 2 nights since that's all we'll need. We are staying on the island in the beach house (our friend's grandmother lives there) for 2 nights when we first arrive.

Now I need to call the hotel and make sure they have rooms available for our dates. Hopefully so, otherwise I'll cancel the Groupon.

All we need now is a rental car for 2 days. Actually, just a day and a half. And I might buy our Cedar Point park tickets online. I'm not sure what will save us more...

They have deals where you can get an all day refillable cup + ticket online. But I also have a $7 off coupon which we could use upon arrival at the park. Hmmm...

Had to stay at home this afternoon ~ had to get a new windshield put in my truck. It's Tom's fault... he attracts rocks. Got hit last week and the chip turned into a crack that grew and grew and grew. So glad that is done and nice that they come right to your house.

Another hour and I go pick Abby up from band camp. I'm anxious to hear how it went.

She's only been gone since this morning! It's day camp at the school and today was her first day. She goes M-F, 8-5, for 3 weeks!

I posted on FB about it, guess you missed it. Anyway, she got out of the truck, I drove off and the tears just started flowing! I couldn't help it! My baby girl is a freshman.

Oh okay. I got it. No I am bad about reading back on fb. When Kacy did band camp I was in the hospital so I never had that part of the roller coaster or her first day of high school but boy I did with the others. It is kind of tear jerking. I remember it well.

I really have been excited about her going to high school ~ excited about band and going to football games and being a part of all of that. So I really didn't expect for it to make me cry! But it sure did! And it's not even school yet! I'm going to be a mess when that starts next month!

Actually, I got an email from Disney to take the "what character are you in Winnie the Pooh"...I took the test...if I came up as WTP, I think I would have died from heart attack.

I was Owl. I like that!

I'm sure we'll rent it for free on Blockbuster Express when it goes to DVD...which should be in 2 weeks?!

Speaking of which, are you guys getting all the free Blockbuster Express movie codes? They have been giving out free codes for the past month...sometimes just once a week but lately it's been like 8 codes a week.

I nearly all caught up on my movies now -- and it was all free for one night!

@Kelly -- hey, we are planning another short trip to OCNJ for 3 nights, starting around 7/25 or 7/26. Looking to stay at Coral Sands since they have a special for only $119, including fridge, microwave, beach passes, parking and only 1/2 block from Boardwalk!!

Have you ever stayed there or heard of it? It looks pretty nice on-line ... but I never expect much from a "shore motel".

So far it's just my parents, my girls and myself. not sure if my sister's family can join us since my BIL was laid off (teacher) in June. Jerry probably can't take the days off work.

But I sooooo can't wait for Johnson's popcorn... Mack and Manco pizza .. .music pier ... wonderland amusements ...Shriver's Candy ... and the bakery (can't remember the name -- oops!)!!!
