Funny story... a year or so ago I was channel surfing and came across what I thought was a cover band performing Soul Sister (which I looooove) so I paused a bit and thought, wow they are baaaaadddd. Camera zooms in and I realize it's Train.

Yeah, I wouldn't go see them live and I am a pretty big fan.

I sooo read this as they are BALD. I was thinking, they're not that old yet??

We got our passports this week! That was FAST! I dunno why they say "2 to 3 weeks" when you expedite...b/c it took about a week. Mine was literally in our mailbox one week after I ordered it!! And Mike's was a straggler, just a day behind mine.

There are 26 pages for stamps. I will NEVER fill it up...especially considering it's only good for 10 years. Well, if I win the lottery I will fill it up, but I don't have a chance in heeelll to win that...especially considering I rarely play.

The flights I was watching went up. Ugh, I really hope they come down again. (Airtran)

We went on a picnic today and this is a picture of where we were.

We are going to start going on a day trip every other week I think. It was so nice to be somewhere somewhere other than home.

I ended up with two of my kids and Vincent who is Loren's best friend to go to the movies. We went to see Green Lantern.


I give it 2.5 out of 5 stars. Ryan Reynolds for his pure hotness helps the score. The problem with the movie is they spend far too much time on the build up. They could have cut that way down. I get it, Hal Jordan is a screw up, no need to spend an hour on it. Once we got past the build up I started to enjoy it.


There were a couple of previews that really interested me. I want to see Moneyball because I was really a huge fan of the A's in those days. And I really like Billy Beane.


The other one was for Harry Potter and WOW!!! That looks great!!

And then there are movies where the previews is the only good thing about the movie.

This is our 4th week of swim lessons We go every day and I think it's worth it since she is now doing things she would have been so scared of a month ago. I have to say I'm getting a nice tan out of it too
