Hi there! Welcome back :goodvibes

:woohoo::woohoo:that's very exciting! Ugh yeah the gas. I can hear the $ being sucked from my wallet every time I fill up. I don't want to even think about how high gas prices are going to be in December :scared1:

I know. I am afraid that by fall it will be $5 a gallon. It is just crazy.

How are you all doing today?

we are doing alright. I haven't done a lot around the house today. Laundry is done though so that's a plus. Chris' parents are actually coming over shortly so I need to go and get dressed and fix my hair. Ill be back a bit later though.

I think with a little one laundry may be the hardest job you have. Talk to you later!!

Aside from the stress of one of my courses, I'm doing alright.

Howdy :)

My Thursday is off to a slow start, eager to get through this week.

Good luck with the course work, hopefully it won't stress you too much :thumbsup2

Mine was the opposite, started fast (and early) and is finally slowing down. Another hour or so and it will finally be done - then on to Friday and the weekend! :woohoo:

 yeah only 3 pages. I just can't go back and catch up on the days I'm home with Alex. He doesn't let me.

That sucks that Kyra is so allergic to grass. :( I love the smell of fresh cut grass.

That's great that you and Roxy have decided not to move the girls while they're in school. We had to move when I was 12. It sucked!!!

:laughing:ok thanks girl

He's a demanding little guy, but that's good. He'll have a good mommy connection as he grows up :goodvibes

It is weird with the allergies since myself and Bean don't have them and Roxy and Kyra do. Hard to balance activities and not leave people out.

My family moved 7 times while I was growing up. It made it very hard to create lasting bonds. They even moved right before my senior year of HS, couldn't believe it :headache: No way I'm doing that to my kids.

I am so excited, it looks like I am going to get a quick 2 night trip to Disneyland!!

Now to just figure out a way to do it on the cheap. We are going to stay in a hotel that has full breakfasts so that helps. Where the real money comes in is in the tickets and the gas.

I have a standing "quick on the cheap trip" planned on a spreadsheet. Staying in our own trailer near DL and eating mostly what we stock in the trailer's kitchen. But you are very right, no way to get around the ticket and gas costs :sad2:

Have fun with it anyhow :)

Don't say that! :scared1:

I'm almost though my 11hr work day. Finished everything I needed to accomplish and am now going through EPCOT pics. Don't tell anyone ;)

Oh that sucks about high school and moving. Scotty wanted to make the girls change schools to the school closest to our house. Kacy is a senior this year, I would not let him. Granted it is the same town but I wouldn't let it happen.

I am planning the trip as cheap as I can. We got very lucky on the hotel. It is a nice hotel and a great price and a gift. I consider it an early birthday present.

LOL yeah I manage usually to get it done in the 2 days I have off from work but folding that last load is usually hard to get done. Right now I have 2 loads still to fold and put away. Blah

He sure is...but that's ok :) Awww I sure hope so! He's totally a mama's boy right now that's for sure.

Ugh that does sound difficult :(

wow....that's pretty harsh!!! I am sure the girls will appreciate that y'all didn't do that to them when they are older :goodvibes They have very awesome parents that's for sure!

:woohoo: I still need to come over to your TR! I'm a bad diser lately

Hi all! I use to chat with some of you before, hope you don't mind me dropping in. Can I join the fun?:confused3

Hey. Nice to see ya :goodvibes
TY! It would be interesting to live down there, but I do like my blue sky, trees, rivers and mountains up here. And we really want the girls to feel like they had a stable upbringing and were able to make/keep friends. Both of them still have friends from when they were in kindergarten.

True enough!

Roxy missed the first episode (of The Voice) but has it recording now. I'll give it a shot if I'm around when she watches it. I enjoy good singing but am not much for the drama that some of these shows try to cultivate with both the judges and the contestants.

Howdy, pleased to meet you or long time no see, whichever is most appropriate :thumbsup2 :)

I hope everyone is having a good Thursday :goodvibes

Hey

I hear ya on long friendships. My best friend and I have been friends since we were 4 :cutie:

Not much drama so far on the voice....the judges are pretty funny so far

The only details that are set is.....

The where.

The who is the family, and the when is this summer sometime. I am hoping for the end of June.

That's where you were going to stay this last trip at first, right? Nice place! :thumbsup2

James knocked my socks off last night! That was amazing! Very few contemporary artists can stand in a theater and sing a cappella like that and sound so perfect. Among them, former Idols come to mind, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.

I'm waiting for it to stop dvring and then I'm going to watch the results. I think Jacob and Haley will be in bottom 3.... the 3rd.... :confused3.
