Hi all......no trip booked or planned.......just stopping by to say Hi.....and it didnt take me long at all to find you......I had a private message about the new thread (somebody still likes me)......just been doing my thing.....surviving the stinkin snow!!! Its just about all gone!!

We just did a 9 day cruise........not really worth talking about....out of San Diego, all mexican ports (never again)....cruise was fine, ports sucked....thats it....
I have a new job, I am a Sgt. now....but I have to drive 104 miles round trip every day......not good on the old wallet with gas prices.....in fact I am losing money....how dumb is that??? But, I am off the road and behind a desk......so thats good. I have a lot of training to go to...

I hope all of you are doing well........I'm sure all the kiddies are growing up....

Who has trips planned??? We dont, but my 20 year old DD and 17 year old SS have been hounding us about a trip to the world this summer....they miss it......we have raised them well!!!!!!

I'm just having computer issues...my computer hard drive crashed so using Rachel's now (just an old junker and sooooo slow).

- I was a infert, too. Both Rachel (IUI) and Elizabeth (IVF) were fertility babies, so you have another one on your TR, too!

I have the ultimate karma story. The night of her being so awful with me a terrible storm went through our area. She lives in a rural area and has trees all around her place. In one of them there are owls that scare her. Her electricity went out so she heard them even louder, point one. Then the wind being as strong as it was brought a tree down on her place. There was no damage but it scared her real good.

Now, I know I should feel bad for her but I don't. I am bad.

Well, Trent got worst as the day went on

Called his doctor and they had late appts. Got him in at almost 10pm

He has croup. They gave me oral predisone for him and continue doing his breathing treatments.

No crackling in his chest, so we caught it just in time before it turned into pneumonia.

Dr said it is viral

So will be home again tomorrow

I just called out and am going to call Trent out now, so we can sleep in tomorrow

ugh!!!!! I'm sorry he's got croup. That totally sucks. I hope the meds help and he gets better soon. Glad you got it in time before it turned into pneumonia. Poor Trent

Well, exactly. He comes first.

So, tonight was the meeting. And as I expected she decided to ignore the fact that I told her that we were coming up the morning of the race and started talking to him about coming up on Friday. He told her that no he would not be coming up even if he had Friday off. And then she started in with a comment about oh yeah that's right Michele said she had plans. He told me that he told her he knew what plans I had. And then didn't volunteer anything. Then she started in again later telling him how he needed to be there on Friday night. He told her again that NO he would not be there that his wife and him make their own decisions. She just will not stop.

Ugh! What is her problem!?!? I hate women like that. One time this girl from Chris' work texted him a picture of new shoes she just got. I was like "that is TOTALLY inappropriate for her to be texting you something like that when you two are not together! Why did she think that was okay!?" I was so ill. Like, I know Chris would never be unfaithful but still. These women just do NOT know how to leave married men alone. I'm glad Scotty put this woman in her place. She needs to get a clue and get over herself. She's making ME mad!!

And then she started texting him when he got home. I told him that I am going to start answering those text messages and telling her where to go.

They are bicycle related they just annoy me.

Congrats on making sgt but bummer on the long drive into work every day. So, you made sgt and are now sitting behind a desk? Is this a new agency that you're at? Chris is on the promotion list at work but has yet to be promoted. If he gets the promotion then he'll go back to the jail. Fun fun. That's great that you're off the road though.

Lets see..Trent was sent home from School last Tuesday as he threw up

Wed school was closed

Thur he went, but at end of day they said he was sluggish

Thur night, starts with fever

Friday, stays home, has fever

Sat, totally fine

Sun, fine

Monday morning, throw up and fever back


So over these darn school germs

His teacher said there is a virus going through their class where kids get a fever for days

Alex is doing better now it seems. He was showing signs of reflux but I decided to try and see if I was over feeding him and he seems to be doing better. But this is just day 2 of the experiement. I have tried everything else so if this doesn't fix the issue then I'm taking him to the doctor.

So I'm almost done with prepping everything for the consignment sale ... just have about 10 more things to tag & bag. I can't wait for all of this to be out of my house! However, I'm not donating much this time. If it doesn't sell, then I'll take it back and try again in the fall, maybe lowering the price.

Now guess what our Girl Scout troop is doing? 1,000 Cranes for Japan

My troop is actually organizing the project for our entire service unit (500 girls). Not quite sure how a 1st year Daisy troop of 4 girls got roped into that

Anyway, after 9-11, Girl Scouts from Japan sent US Girl Scouts 1,000 cranes as a sign of goodwill/thinking of you.

So in return, we are sending them origami cranes to show we care after their diaster. Since our Service Unit has 500 girls, "technically" each girl only has to make 2 cranes ... but we know how that goes. I'm just hoping my troop doesn't end up doing the majority of them.
