I don't think Ricky Shroeder was on tonight. Although they did bring back that kid from Season One...where the heck has he been for 5 seasons? (For those who remember, he was also "Jesse" on the first two episodes of Buffy...the one Darla killed.)

Jeesh. I'm exhausted. But eager for tomorrow!

A nuclear bomb? I can't remembr which season it was (I've watched the seasons as they've aired and not on DVD), 24 has already been there and done that. But it was flown into the desert by radiation-poisoned George(I think?) and was detonated out in the desert. So it wouldn't seem like a huge shocker if they went nuclear again in a populated area.

What do you all think of Wayne Palmer as President? I don't like the idea. I LOVED President Palmer, but Wayne?! I dunno....

I didn't really buy it. I can never remember past seasons (though I've watched from the very beginning), but didn't Wayne Palmer used to be a little dodgy? Like, he was having an affair with a married woman at some point... and it seems there were some other shifty things about him, too. Plus, he was kind of a bad actor in this episode.

But still I thought it was a great premiere. Looking forward to tomorrow!

I didn't see Rick Schroder but maybe he'll be on tomorrow night. I thought that Wayne Palmer was OK as a President and it may just work.

But then everything works on this show. Wow, what a first two hours and I can't wait until tomorrow!!!

How terrible is this....I can't even read my own thread!! At 7pm my DH decided to ask if we wanted to watch Star Wars!!! We are watching them in order and watched Episode III today and I thought since we have been living and breathing 24 for the past 5 months....NOTHING would stand in the way of watching that tonight. DH has to work at 5:30am tomorrow morning so he said we will watch it tomorrow night.

I am so glad that what I have "skimmed" seems like it did not disappoint!!

His name is Milo, right? Yeah, I was thinking "What the heck CTU rock has he been hiding under???". I guess that actor's career hasn't taken off so he's come back .

I also thought the actress tonight playing the President's sister was the same one who on Season 1 played Senator Palmer's assistant (or Mrs. Palmer's or whatever she was). But I looked on IMDB, and it's not her. I'm glad, because I sure didn't remember her being David's sister. It's just been so long since I'd seen it, and they do kind of resemble each other, don't they?? Is it just the wine I've been drinking that made me think so ?

No, he wasn't on yet!! They did show on Larry King Live some clips and he was right along Jack!! Not sure when he will be on the show. Larry King was pointing out how Rick always seems to be in the right place at the right time, taking a part on NYPD and always getting parts on hit shows!!!

The actor playing Milo is Eric Balfour. Rick Schroder's character is going to be named Mike Doyle.
