Keifer is a brilliant actor now. It's worth watching 24 just to see him in action.

I don't really like Palmer all that much either. It's not the voice but the lack of presence I think. A President can be soft-spoken and still come off as tough...see Reagan.

I honestly don't know what was more shocking, the bomb going off or what happened to Curtis.

That's easy - definitely Curtis, even in spite of the CTU agent average life span. The look on Curtis' face - that broke Jack's heart even more.

Sorry to see Curtis go, but not as sorry as I would have thought.

The whole nuclear bomb going off thing is a little more than I can handle. It's only a matter of time before it happens for real and I can't help but get pulled out of the show and into real life. The "drama" on TV just can't compare. I prefer fantasy TV.

I'll give Jack his little breakdown - he has it coming after Chinese torture, bartering his life, hunting nuclear terrorists and killing one of his friends. But he better snap out of it fast. I don't want weeks of Jack crying.

The look on Curtis' face broke my heart! I was hopinh it was someone, anyone but Jack that had shot him. Curtis and Jack are the only two people that had been in the show for the past 6 seasons continuously. Now Jack is the only one.

Palmer needs to be impeached! Oh wait that dosent work (look at Clinton he got to stay ) Ok The actor that plays palmer has to be fired. That would work. Or they better do something quick with his character. The actor isnt good enough to carry a weak character like palmer. I hated Logan but the actor that played him did an excellent job of making me hate the character so it was at least entertaining. The whiney little side kick to palmer is great... You have to hate him but at the same time that is his character so the actor is doing a good job. By the way I think he will eventually become a good guy in this season.


Did any of that make sense?

See thats what I thought as well. Now I cannot remember where I read this but I did read it somewhere, I'll have to search for it again, But I know Jack and another person at CTU (and It wasn't Chloe) had been the only ones there for all 6 seasons.

I'm stunned just stunned. I don't even know where to start stunned. Curtis, Kumar errrrr Ahmed, Curtis(!!), nukes. And I need more eye candy, I miss Tony!!

Nuts. I was keeping running death total. I was up to 243 and then the nuke went off so now ... who knows??

Felt bad about Curtis going but not like I did with Tony, Michele and especially Edgar. Curtis' character was hard to develop feelings for.

The bomb detonation really didn't surprise me all that much but a strange thing happened... I choked up. In this crazy world we live in, I could see that happening. This is one time I really hope life doesn't mimic fiction.

As for Jack, well now he's mad and you DON'T want to make Jack angry.

After hearing what the terrorist did to Curtis and his unit - was anyone hoping that Curtis shot him? I wish Jack shot him in the shoulder and took him out of commission - not kill him.

I have to say - I think I was about to cry when that bomb whent off!

I was thinking that too-until I saw the previews for Monday. Bomb goes off, breakdown over.
Setting off a nuclear bomb makes Jack angry-and we all know what happens when Jack gets ANGRY!!!

I was worried about that, too. But wasn't this some kind of low end nuke? Like, it doesn't have as big of a destructive radius as other bombs?
