**This is now the OFFICIAL 24 SEASON 6 Thread**

that was driving me crazy too!! it's the kid that played eli, jack's son on will & grace. he looks sooo different with the long hair!! so sad about curtis, i am so unhappy about that. very bad storyline twist, they could have thought of something else! ugh!!!!

I finally figured out where I knew him from. I don't watch Will & Grace. He was Will Stronghold in Sky High. I just couldn't believe IMDB let me down, because his page said nothing about 24. But, when I Googled just his name, it took me to his site, which has stuff about his 24 stint all over it.

This is the first time Ive watched (dh has been hooked) and I think I might be hooked

So sad about Curtis, that scene really made me cry! he was always someone that Jack could depend on. I hate to say it, but there arent as many people on this season that i really care about. I used to love david palmer, tony, michelle, and especially edgar. You could probably take out the new prez, his annoying whiny sister, and everyone at CTU except chloe and i wouldnt blink an eye.
MY SPOILER AHEAD

I am just worried that miles might all of a sudden lose his british accent in the next few weeks and start speaking arabic! that would really be a shock and chloe would be devastated.

Ugh, I guess I'm the only one who didn't like it. I'm done with 24. I was ready to walk out the room when Curtis was shot, but had to see what the big fuss at the end was. Not a big shocker.

I don't remember Curtis being in seasons 1-3. Am I wrong?

Curtis was definitely not in the first 3 seasons. I thought last year was the first, but looks like it was season 4.

And Chloe didn't come on the show until season 3.

but isn't he close enough for fallout and radiation issues??

This issue woke me up a few times in the night because I was concerned with Jack's safety. I kept going back to where Karen was explaining the casualty numbers that could be involved and the distance of the fallout.

Must...get...a...life. :upsidedow

You know, something keeps bothering me with the CTU staff as it is right now. Who is Morris? Has he been on before? I DO NOT LIKE HIM! And why can't I remember Milo? What's his beef? I totally agree with you though...something does not smell very good.

Morris is Chloe's ex-husband. He came in at the end of last season to help her out with stuff after Edgar (rest his soul ;) ) died. He was a shoe salesman. I like him personally, but as always there has to be a mole in CTU, I hope he's not it!

Sorry! In my quick response I posted Miles not Morris. Well I still think something is up with him. he looks a little shady to me!

Thank you! It's been bothering me too. The beautiful redhead from Sky High is on Shark this year. We love Sky High!

I'm subscribing...I've been an on & off "24" fan...mostly off last season. I just didn't like the Nixonish president, etc. This season so far is great. I was sad for Curtis but you could see it coming. I wished he shot him in the leg or something just to stop him...but I guess that's not the life of a CTU agent.

I hope we don't see a lot of graphic "fallout" from the nuke...that would be even sadder.

In the first two hours last night, when Jack was strapped to the chair hanging his head in pain/near death, and the terrorist was talking on the phone, what did Jack mumble?

Bumping to see if anyone caught this.

Bumping to see if anyone caught this.

He was mumbling the latitude/longitude coordinates that were Assad's headquarters (so he could find him later) - which he later input into his phone to find him

I was thinking that too-until I saw the previews for Monday. Bomb goes off, breakdown over.
Setting off a nuclear bomb makes Jack angry-and we all know what happens when Jack gets ANGRY!!!

but isn't he close enough for fallout and radiation issues??
Angry Jack much more fun than crying Jack. :teeth:

I thought the same thing about the bomb. If you're close enough to see the blast, won't you end up dead?

'Course, maybe he wasn't close enough to die or get sick, I dunno. I'm no nuclear physicist. And I know a lot has to do with wind/raid, etc. - how far the crap carries and all. Hope they clear it up next week!

I don't want to watch a show where people are dying of fallout. Saw Testament, that's enough for one lifetime.

Morris is Chloe's ex-husband. He once worked for CTU (though we never saw him then) and left or was fired. He sold shoes for a while, then got brought back to CTU last season (that's the first we saw him, they worked the back-story in through other conversations.) I think he would make an excellent bad guy!

Milo was an analyst for part of Season One. Then we didn't see him again until the first episode of this year. Apparently, he was working in another department these last four years. I like him. :)

There is a clip on the 24 website of the guy who played Tony Almeida acting like an idiot and not commenting on whether Tony is really dead or not. So maybe Tony will be back. That'd be nice.

Going back to the Peter MacNicol thing - I'm really having a hard time buying him as the chief of staff, or whatever he is. Sorry, I just can't take him seriously.

I don't know if anyone else on this thread watches Numb3rs on Friday nights (great show, if you haven't seen it before), but he plays an eccentric math professor named Larry Fleinhardt that is good friends with the main characters. His odd quirks and tastes have lead him to join a space shuttle crew to do some studies in space, so he's gone into space for "6 months," which is why he's not on the show right now. It's a character that is not that unlike the John Cage character he played on Ally McBeal - a character type he is very good at, but no where near a presidential adviser type.

So as someone who watches both shows regularly, it's hard to see Larry come down from the space station as a shady, serious Chief of Staff. He's a great actor, but it just doesn't work.

According to Wikipedia, the other cast member for all 6 seasons is Glenn Morshower, who plays Aaron Pierce.

Oh my thats who it was! See I knew I read it somewhere, for some reason my memory had me thinking it was Curtis, but now that you say that, it'slike DUH it wqas Aaron not Curtis. Okay thank you for correcting my mistake.
