Becky--I was snooping around on a non-DIS forum board cool2 and I found a post about someone wondering about December 2010 discounts. One woman posted that the last week in March or 1st week in April is when it was announced. Others said late April/Early May. I would say that April/May is most likely, especially because that is when we need to book our ADRs. Just some FYI. Wondering if you have any info as well.

the disney store princess party looked so sweet...my 2nd closet store is closing this month too...very sad!

Great update Becky!! Love your new mugs!! So cute!!!! I use my Mickey mug every day for my morning coffee!!! It's a great start to the day!!!

Ok, lots to reply to here! You are just a wealth of information!

First, those mugs are SO cute! I love them! My father gave Miguel and I Mickey and Minnie his/hers mugs for Christmas - they're different from yours but I thought the idea was so cute! And how fun that you got a Christmas present in February?! I'm all for making the holidays last!

As for CRT dinner, we had dinner there the last night of our trip and let me say I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting too much since nothing at CRT gets great reviews but the food was great! We had a late ADR so we were able to watch Wishes in front of the castle (still in its holiday lights) and then head in to the castle for dinner. Such a lovely night I'll of course write about it in my TR and you can see my full "review". I think you should definitely go for it You could eat there with the princesses and then be out in time to watch holiday wishes!

I love that its time for the countdown chain to come out! How exciting that your trip is getting so close!

I must go check out all of those links - you've given me quite a bit of reading to do!

Haven't caught your updates in a while....things here have been busy! Kids have been sick, we've gotten tons of snow and we've had a few birthdays too! Such is life!

We have a snow day today too! I am actually hoping for a delayed opening in the am, b/c I know the roads will be icy and I'd rather not have to rush to drive them to school.

Anyway, do you use tourguide mike to plan your park days? I always have in the past, and thought it was worth it. But, I want to plan out my adr's and usually he doesn't have the park crowd days until a month or two out. How do you pick your park days if you dont' mind my asking? We always go at the end of august and its usually free dining, so ADR's are almost impossible to get or switch if you don't book right away.

Hi Jennifer!! I'm so sorry to hear that your kids have beem sick again!! That's not fun! I saw the pics of Katie's birthday on FB and it looked like sooo much fun!!

I haven't used Tour Guide Mike in the past but I've been considering it! My TA helps me pick my park days. Can you use crowd levels from the year before or do they change? I don't know a whole lot about that site. Let me know what you think!!

Ooooh--I'm curious as to what this non-DIS forum is!!! Isn't there a place on AllEars.net that has a list from last year of the dates and deals? I know I've seen it before but need to check it out again!!

Yes--we'll definitely have to plan something!! I would of course already have a list of my ADRs ready to go as soon as we got back. I'm already workign on the list now!!

Thanks! The snow is pretty much gone--I'm hoping we're done with the snow now. They keep talking about the different ways we might have to make up the days! Uggh!

Thanks Kristen!! I agree! Using a Disney mug for your morning coffee IS a great way to start your day!!! I LOVE drinking coffee at night, too!! It's so relaxing to sit on the couch, watch tv, read the DIS, and drink coffee all at the same time!!

YAY!! I didn't realize you had eaten at CRT on your trip!! I can't wait to hear about your dinner!! What time is best to plan a dinner to get out in time to see Holiday Wishes?

I really do not know what forum I was on. I just searched "Disney December Deal Dates" or something on google.

I was wondering, have you ever seen the disney family decals you can get for your car? You buy the Dad, Mom and (in your case) the two girls wearing the mickey ears? All of the Moms at Abby's school have it and I may get it! I have my initials right now on the back of my car, but I think the family thing is SO cute!

Sorry this is a bit off-topic.. but you get a decal from D23 in the membership pack!

I only mention this because I had mine in my car.. then unfortunately, a couple of weeks ago I had a nasty accident and my car was totalled apart from mourning the car (it was called Dory! ) I also realised I'd lost my D23 decal!

soo.. I emailed D23 last weekend.. and guess what, they're sending me a replacement in the mail!! .. such a simple thing but it made my day and reminded me of the Disney magic!!

Yay, for 100 days! Tennessee is really stacking up their snow days. Sadly, we don't get those down here, we just get hurricane days.
I love your mugs. I have the mickey one but I haven't seen the Minnie one. I think she might want to join our collection of Disney mugs. I have a shelf in the closet dedicated to Disney mugs!
I love the Valentines! Claire is going to be so much fun on this trip. It's such a perfect age to take them. My niece is going to Disney on Monday and she is just a month younger then Claire.
Thanks for all the links! I watched cake boss but I missed some of it on Monday! (had to find out if Ally was leaving on the Bachelor.) I can't wait for the SB special on Saturday last night wasn't really a lot of Disney. It was only about less then 10 minutes total.
