Geez-o Pete! I let myself get so behind! Then I let myself get too intimidated to take the time to catch up! But today I decided to devote some DIS-time to catching up on some PTRs/TRs. Unfortunately, I had to skip some of yours, and what I skipped apparently involved a princess party! I have to go back and read tomorrow. Can't let a princess party story escape me!

Woohoo!!! Our dates are "lowest of the year" for Christmas!!!

Our week is #1!!! That is SOOOOO cool! I am so excited! Thanks for that link, Becky! I sent it to all the adults that are going with us in December. I am sure they'll be just as excited as I am!

When we went for breakfast the food was just ok--nothing outstanding--especially for 2 TS credits. And I thought the princesses were a bit rushed. But eating in the castle was amazing!! What has changed is the characters for dinner. Instead of the mice and the Fairy Godmother they will have the princesses (at all 3 meals of the day--instead of just breakfast and lunch). I've heard the dinner food is really good so maybe we'll try it again for dinner--you know?! Now that they will actually have the princesses for dinner.

I feel the same way about CRT. I vowed I wouldn't go again until my girls were old enough to really hold on to the memory of eating in the castle. I just didn't think the food was worth 2TS credits, nor was the interaction. IMO, Akershus was WAY more worth it. Better food, better interaction. However, I don't know of a dinner meal that features the princesses, so I think that gives an edge to CRT just for flexibility. Other than that, I prefer the Akershus Princess Storybook Breakfast.

I was wondering, have you ever seen the disney family decals you can get for your car? You buy the Dad, Mom and (in your case) the two girls wearing the mickey ears? All of the Moms at Abby's school have it and I may get it! I have my initials right now on the back of my car, but I think the family thing is SO cute!

Sorry this is a bit off-topic.. but you get a decal from D23 in the membership pack!

I only mention this because I had mine in my car.. then unfortunately, a couple of weeks ago I had a nasty accident and my car was totalled apart from mourning the car (it was called Dory! ) I also realised I'd lost my D23 decal!

soo.. I emailed D23 last weekend.. and guess what, they're sending me a replacement in the mail!! .. such a simple thing but it made my day and reminded me of the Disney magic!!

Yay, for 100 days! Tennessee is really stacking up their snow days. Sadly, we don't get those down here, we just get hurricane days.
I love your mugs. I have the mickey one but I haven't seen the Minnie one. I think she might want to join our collection of Disney mugs. I have a shelf in the closet dedicated to Disney mugs!
I love the Valentines! Claire is going to be so much fun on this trip. It's such a perfect age to take them. My niece is going to Disney on Monday and she is just a month younger then Claire.
Thanks for all the links! I watched cake boss but I missed some of it on Monday! (had to find out if Ally was leaving on the Bachelor.) I can't wait for the SB special on Saturday last night wasn't really a lot of Disney. It was only about less then 10 minutes total.

YAY!! I didn't realize you had eaten at CRT on your trip!! I can't wait to hear about your dinner!! What time is best to plan a dinner to get out in time to see Holiday Wishes?

I'm not sure of the time for Wishes during December but while we were there Spectro was at 7 and Wishes at 8. I would think December times would be similar to January times Our ADR was for 8:20 and I believe the meal took about an hour. I would think if you make an ADR 1.5 - 2 hours before Wishes starts then you could make it out in time to get spots for the show. Also, I'm not positive, but isn't there a "show" where they turn on the lights of the castle? Maybe you could get an ADR after the lighting (so you could see that as well) and then come out in time to watch the fireworks?

I'm not sure how I missed your mini-update on your FB status but it is SO cute! I'm sure this trip will be a whole new experience with Claire since she's grown so much since your last She sounds like such a doll.

Awww!! Thanks! Yes, Claire is insistent that we got to HER castle AND she's keeps talking about meeting Ariel (they showed the DD on Cake Boss meeting Ariel). She keeps me in stitches, that's for sure!!!
