This has never happened to me before

While walking into our local mini mart tonight a lady stopped me to comment on by coat. I bought it in Disney about 2 years ago. (brown with Mickey heads stitched in it. I said thanks as I went to grab milk her husband came back and offered me $50.00 for my used coat. Well at the check out I went to pay and as I put my purse on the counter and the same lady said oh my gosh is that Mickey on your purse. (brown with a mickey head stitched on it) and I showed it to her. which she loved.
Her husband followed me to my car and offered me $75.00 for both.
I have never had any one want to buy something I was wearing. Has this happened to anyone else.
Of course I said NO to both offers.

I have had people ask where I got certain articles of clothing, but I've never had anybody try to buy them right off my body! That's weird!

when he wanted to buy the coat yes. but only the guy followed me to my car. My DIL said I would of sold it because it had Mickey on it. I love my Mickey stuff.

Maybe it's me, but this would have scared me a little. being in the store is one thing, but following you to your car is a little weird.

Once (of course my knew the person), somebody offered to buy my mom's purse because she said she didn't particularly like it.

She sold it on the spot and carried her stuff home in a Walmart bag.

That's quite a compliment, I think I'd be smiling a little bigger in my coat after that... of course, the guy was a bit 'off' but at least it was complimentary.

I have a Mickey Mouse shaped engagement ring and I have actually had two women- on two seperate occasions- ask what size I wore and then proceeded to ask if they could buy it from me! HELLO! It is my engagement ring! You really think I am going to sale it??
