Thinking about DVC

I'm thinking about buying a DVC resale and I've been reading on this board the time it would take to complete the deal. We're planning a vacation for next Magic Season (Feb or March), so most likely I won't be able to make reservations 11 months out. How likely will I be able to make a reservation at my home resort 8, 9 or 10 months out? We will need a 2 bedroom villa.

Which resort would be your home? If you are talking about OKW, BWV or SSR, there will be no problem, but if you are thinking of VWL you might need to waitlist, but I am quite sure you will get what you want as long as it isn't Easter week.

i don't think you will have a problem getting a 2 bedroom villa anywhere in February and March as long as you book prior to the 7 month window. JMHO. YMMV.

I've never had much of a problem booking anywhere at anytime, so I don't think booking for Feb. or March will be a problem.

Easter is the middle of April next year, so if you are talking about early March, you should be OK. Beginning the last week in March, the midwesterners are taking their spring break, and then it gets REALLY busy for Easter.
