Think there is any chance for 7/30 - 8/2??

We are still a week or so away from closing on our 1st contract - and I THOUGHT the first reservations we'd be making would be for May - but I just found out that there is a big to-do at MGM for ESPN's 25th anniversay and I am thinking about planning a quick trip for my DH's birthday since he woudl LOVE that (I'd prefer the F&W festival at Epcot, or Super Soap Weekend... but marriage is about compromise, right???)

Anyway - think there is a decent chance of getting reservations for a studio 1 month out?? Our first choice would be BWV - but really, I'd be happy to be anywhere b/c I'm sure he'd love it.

(The bad news is the Swan and Dolphin are sold out, and that's where we usually stay!!)

Since you are willing to stay anywhere, I would think that you might find a vacancy. If necessary, find one room and waitlist for the other dates. I did that and actually got a studio less than 3 weeks ahead for last week! I didn't expect that, so it was a nice surprise to get a quick trip to start the summer.

This past Tuesday, I got a studio for July 21-24@my first choice-BCV. I thinkyou have a good chance as long as you are flexible about which resort you will stay at.

I have had good luck with studios at OKW for late notice. I bet you will get one.
