Well it was a normal day - take DD to scholl - go shopping Etc

Only on the way to the supermarket as I as going down the dual carriageway (a van parked up in a layby) decides to pull out in front of me - no indication or anything :scared1:

Not that indicating would have mattered - I slammed on the brakes (while screaming) - the back of my car skids into the second lane - people start hooting me who must have been at my rear side - and all I can remember is the sight of the van doors literally in front of me and wondering when I would hit something :sad1:

Anyway, luck was on my side and I managed to survive without a bump - and the van just drove on it's merry way!! Not even sure he realised what he had done!

DH got a teary phonecall about my near miss - boy I was shook up for a while.

Well thanks for listening - feel better now and am glad it was my lucky day!!

glad to hear you're ok  even in this weather, people still drive like idiots :(

 I'm glad that you are ok.

People were driving very dangerously this morning. I must admit shouting more than one expletive on the way to work today!!:lmao:

glad that you are ok
