This is my funny for the day:
I was teaching math today and hear the intercom click on. My principal says, "Testing, testing, testing" and then "teachers, if you can't hear this message, please call the office." Twenty three 4th graders realized how stupid that was, so I don't know why a grown man doesn't.

The best part was when the repair guy comes on a little later. Says the same testing, testing message and then again says, "Anyone that cannot hear this message, please contact the office."

One of my smarties said, "You should call the office and tell them we didn't hear the message so our intercom must be broken"

I work in the front office of a school and people really say the funniest stuff when they get on the intercom!

Our receptionist did an "all call" (to entire school) and started by saying...

"Teachers please disregard this announcement...." Almost every room called in wanting to know if they needed to listen or not!

Our Principal was making an announcement and instead of saying the number 6 she said "sex" and we all busted out laughing (of course everyone heard us).

Everytime our receptionist has to make an announcement her hands start sweating. I really used to bother me, but after talking on it everyday for the last several years, you get used to it!
