Our recent trip we would try to think of things to yell as we were riding the more exciting rides....here are a few of ours and I just want to hear some new ideas for our next trip..... pirate:

Were all going to die!!!!!!
Brazin wench (though we heard it on pirates but not sure), or for the kids....blazing wrench
Wheres my baby!!!!!!
I cant feel my face!!!!!!
My water broke!!!!!!

and thats a few of ours.... :earboy2:

He says thank you..... Ya it started with me and my younger brother but then my sister (whos family we were with) started doing it and then my little niece would yell some of the stuff.....haha. She was very fun cause she went on EVERY ride and loved all of them....she was crazy!!!!!

My personal favorites is "Dynomite!!!" a la J.J (Jimmie Walker) from "Good Times"
I especially like screaming this on Big Thunder Mountain.

My niece and I started a tradition of singing "It's A Small World" on Space Mountain when we go on it.

My sister & I used to go to Kings Dominion like every week back in the 80's. Our favorite was "Anyone seen the movie Rollercoaster?

How about..... #%!!1^$!#$#! :teeth:

Even if it is not a water ride we also say things like I hope I don't get soaked on this ride this time. Last time I was drenched.

I don't yell anything on rides, I like to actually listen to the stuff that Disney provided.

And, please don't take this the wrong way, while I'm sure it's really fun for you to be yelling stuff it's sure annoying as heck for people who haven't been to the parks before and have never experienced the ride. We took friends to DL a few years back, we didn't have all that long to spend at the park and it was really a shame when we'd go on rides (like HM and PotC) and they couldn't hear a word of the narration because of people screaming things.

When I took my nephews earlier this year (both under 6) they people in our boat at PotC scared them.

So while I don't want to rain on your parade, please remember that there are other people there too who might have a different ride experience in mind. Or for whom this might be their one and only chance to be on that ride.

Now if they build a Rocky Horror Picture Show ride then by all means, yell away.

I tend to agree. On our last trip there was a kid (14 or so) sitting behind us yelling stuff the whole time. He's yelling stuff like "we're gonna die!" and "let me off...let me off!" We knew he was just fooling around but it got real annoying and actually ruined our experience on that ride. I can see yelling something once in a while. We always call out possum on BMTR but that's it. We don't continue screaming things throughout.

I don't mind if people yell a little on rides, like during the drop on Pirates (our family always likes to do a much-exaggerated scream!), as long as they don't yell or talk along with the narration the whole time! :)

Once when we were at Disneyland there was a group of teens who were talking, yelling, etc. all through Pirates--they were in great spirits and just having a good time, but it WAS annoying to everybody else. When they got off the ride a CM pulled them aside and said firmly, "Here at Disneyland WE create the fun for our guests. Please allow all our guests to enjoy the Disney magic." I thought that was a good way of putting it.

BTW duckman, that's so cute about your little niece loving all the rides! Isn't it fun to see it all through the eyes of a little one?

Not really anything to share except the photo of your puppy was a little dark so I decided to brighten it up a bit so these old eyes could see it. Hope you don't mind.

It's one thing if it's a ride like POTC or Haunted Mansion that has a story. Yelling in something like that isn't cool. OTOH, I don't have a problem on rides that DON'T tell a story or narration.

For example -- when I lived in GA a bunch of friends and I would go to Six Flags at least once a year. Rides like the Looping Starship are ripe for yelling contests and things like "Stop the world, I wanna get off!!" or "I WANT MY MOMMY!!!" And, on roller coasters, yelling "Yoiks! And Away!" like Daffy Duck in "Robin Hood Duck" is always good. :)

Edited to add: Whoops! Lauri's DH Matthew / Obi-Wan Pinobi posted this ... forgot to log her out.

My brother and I used ot go to Canobie Lake park when we were kids and we'd yell things on the roller coasters, usually totally non-sequiter things that made no sense. I remember, one year, when we were 10 and 15 we were obsessed with screaming Save the Prairie Dogs! on all the thrill rides. For the life of me I have no idea why....

Well, I know when I've been on coasters at Six Flags Over Texas (and almost always by myself cuz DH isn't nearly as big a coaster fan as I am), I tend to yell out wierd things.

Like the first time I rode the Mr.Freeze coaster :"This is better than sex!". :earseek:
Or when I first rode the Batman coaster: "Dananananananana..BATMAN!Batman! Batman!" :cool1:

Hey, those prarie dogs need representation too...

On Mission Space this past summer - me, SWMBO, DS and DD riding in the pod together. As the ship crosses North America during the orbit of the earth, I said to everyone, "Hey! I can see our house from here." :D

Just please don't shout things that are not family appropriate at family theme parks. I don't really think "This is better than sex" is something any parent would want to explain to 7 year old while out for a day of fun.

I know people who stopped taking their kids to 6 flags because of some of the stuff that gets shouted on rides...
