Things to do outside parks tampa and orlando area

We are wanting to save most of our disney touring for our honeymoon in Dec where we are also having our wedding there but would like to see some of disney. So what is there to do outside of disney. All i hear is disney and i would like recomendations from anyone who has been there. We know about universal and sea world and bush gardens. BUt are looking for other things not just theme parks. My fiance loves aquariums and has never been to the ocean before we also are not clubbers we are more quite type i guess. Any help would be great. Thanks

do you mean out of the disney resort?

well you've got the comedy warehouse (always a laugh) lots of the hotels and villas have really nice pools and of course there is always the opotunity to hire a car or something and take a trip around

yea outside disney.
We are allready renting a pool house figured why be cramped in a hotel when we can have our own private pool.

We are saving disney for our honeymoon this time we want to see other things tampa and orlando has to offer. we are thinking of spending 1 day at disney just not sure yet. Any recomends on a good guide book for orlando and tampa?
