Things that make you wonder

Don't you scratch your head and wonder when you get a TA request, reply yes, and the person who offered it replies back "No thanks!"?

I maybe could even see it if it was lopsided. But things like this make me wonder.........
What happens in pin trading that makes you say, "Huh?"

That happened to me awhile ago. I accepted a pin trade and never got a response from the person. Weird!

I also love it when, after I accept a request, I never hear back from the person again. I e-mailed one person today that had sent a request that I said yes to on Thursday, and he/she said, "Sorry, I don't want that pin anymore." Things that make you go hmmmm!

Luv: Funny you should bring up a TA trade being turned down by the originator of the trade after it's accepted! That's exactly what I did to the "questionable" one I PM'd you about. I emailed her back because I didn't recognize her name or request-she replied with my original TA email. Come to find out it was from a month and a half ago!

Now I understand people are busy, there's parks to visit and pins to shop for, but I've never had anyone wait a month and a half to reply. And then she didn't even include the original email, she wrote back her own that I sent to you-no sorry for the delay or anything.

I had to tell her I changed my mind after she accepted my offer. The whole thing was kind of wierd, and I didn't want to trade with someone who took that long to reply to a trade request. What if she took that long to send my pin?

I know, you guys are probably talking about resonable time between offers and emails, but I guess there's some exceptions to every rule.

About a month ago, I accepted a trade request from someone who didn't respond back so I just let it go. So today, what comes in the mail but the pin from this trader! I never sent him the pin, I thought the trade was off...I don't even know what it was at this point! Go figure!

Just recently I won an auction for one of the Innoventions Millenium Press set dangle pins. In my email to the seller, I mentioned that I was trying to get the whole set and was very excited that I had won this auction. The shipping costs were high at $3.95, but the pin itself only cost me $5.59 which I thought was a great price for one of these pins. Anyway, the seller emailed me back and told me that she (I'm assuming that it is a she, the only name on the email was the ebay id) had the rest of the set (multiples of some) and she would be willing to sell me the ones that I needed.

So, I asked how much she wanted for each of the ones I was missing. Well, the price came back at $10 each, but the seller would only charge me the shipping/handling fee of $3.95 once.

Now I'm slightly confused because I've watched this person's auctions on ebay and because of the high shipping she's had several of these pins go unsold at the starting bid of $5.00. So I'm trying to figure out why I was quoted a price of $10 for each, when I could just watch the auctions and get them for $5.00. Even with the shipping it would still work out to less than $10 a pin.
