Might want to read the whole ARTICLE source (http://www.slate.com/id/2228681):

They only read/post the parts that support their beilief.

Again, the data confirm common sense. The more open the space and the farther away you are, the lower your smoke exposure. To get the kind of exposure you'd suffer indoors, you have to stand within two feet of the smoker. Move seven feet away, and you're "close to background," i.e., breathing normal air. I recommend greater distance than that, just to be safe. But you don't need to ban smoking throughout Central Park.

Apparently, it's not very common.

I don't get that one, either. Are the posters who said that planning on drinking our of the fountains?
I say, play away!

I believe they are refering to young naked toddlers with poop running down their legs, or peeing where they stand.
Now you may not find this gross at first, but I'd love to see your reaction if you step in a pile some toddler leaves behind, and realize what you just stepped in.

This comment was in poor taste, IMHO. I've stayed at POP several times and I have seen people drinking by the pool, but no one was stumbling around drunk. Why do people continue to stereotype to the guests at Value as the unwashed masses?

Don't get me wrong, I stayed at POP and really enjoyed it. I just wonder why a group of adults would choose a Disney resort as a place to go and drink all week, wouldn't Daytona Beach or a place like that make more sense?

How do you know these people did nothing but drink all week?

Some unsupervised child of about 10-12 deliberately spitting into the spa at the GF. I should have taken the opportunity to teach him some manners (or at least the rules of basic hygiene), as his parents were nowhere in sight...but I left. I can only hope he caught something as a result of bad hygiene.

This is not Disney Specific but My 9 year old no matter where we are checks under the table in every restaurant for gum. She hates the idea of it being there she will not sit there if there is any gum.

When we left for the parks in the morning, there they were. When we came back for a midday swim and nap, there they were. And when we returned at night, you guessed it, there they were.

i think it was mere coincidence that they just happened to need a beverage at teh exact time you were there...:rotfl2:

What do I find gross at WDW?

ABC Commissary

About the only thing almost as gross as this place was watching my dd spit her first and only bite of her cuban sandwich out of her mouth at this place.:rotfl2:

I LOVE this!!!:lmao:
The Cuban sandwich at the Commissary is one of the worst things I have ever tasted in my life, and I am not a picky eater.

Really have you ever had a Cuban Sandwitch before this?

Yep, I have had plenty of Cuban food (used to live in Florida.) This particular one was dry like shoe leather. And cold, yukky. I can cut them some slack, it may have been an off day, but I haven't eaten there since.

The worst meal I ever had was a piece of chicken at Bethesda Naval Hospital that tasted like saw dust. I don't complain much but I couldn't eat it.

Also, somebody mentioned the smell of urine at the top of a slide. We noticed that at SSR last week. EEeeeewwwwww.

I have to say that the most grossest, most disgusting thing I see and have to put up with is the people who smoke, I can’t tell you how many times I have been sitting on a bench when a person sits down next to me and lights up a smoke. These people have no respect for themselves or anyone else. Even though the Disney Co. has no smoking sections there locations were not very well planned out and leave much to be desired. At the Magic Kingdom try finding a place to stand next to the exit on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or at the exit next Tomorrowland Speedway. Breathing the cigarette smoke that has been in some strangers lungs hast to be the grossest thing on the planet.
