Things that could end a good relationship.

I am voting robot... a person or entity who has serious deficits in social/emotional interactions.

He sounds totally normal to me. Frankly I have strong concern for anyone that would be offended by someone that suggests someone else make an effort to stay in shape. Anyone can attempt to stay in shape. I did not say you have to have plastic surgery to look like barbie. I said make an effort to stay in shape, yet you act as if that is the worst insult anyone could ever come up with. I really just don't get that, especially since you say you are in shape so therefore you must care about staying in shape. :confused3

What if they don't want to? What if they honestly don't care about their physical appearance? Why does your desire (blech) trump the decision a person can make for themselves?

Because it's almost like being smart and opinions on shaving are directly related!! :rolleyes2

OK so do you want to jump on board with defending not brushing your teeth and not bathing as well?

So do you think women here are lying when they say they're offended, yet not obese (which is what TheAviator is talking about since he said 250+), have long hair and wear heels?

Lying? No...

I believe your offended... I just find that a bit silly and think there is probably an underlying reason for a happily married woman to take offense to an anonymous poster on a message board. I'm not a big fan of calling people fat but I also think people looked way too far into it for some deeper meaning.

It doesn't, I was merely pointing out the standards I have for myself in a potential mate. But apparently its offensive to some around here for a "man" to expect a woman to make an effort to stay in shape, now we've added its offensive for me to suggest that they also bath, shave and brush their teeth. Hmmmm OK I guess next I'm going to go argue with Aaron Hernandez why its not socially acceptable to become a serial killer, I may make better headway with that endeavor.

Wow, it doesn't go off the deep end at all to suggest that your expectations of women are the same as being a serial killer. That's a totally reasonable comparison!

By the way, I'll say it again, it's the expectation that's the problem (and not just to stay in shape - which you did not say, you said "get fat," have long hair, and wear heels as well).. It's making it a requirement for someone that you are with that's offensive.

Why? Why do you care what he wants out of a woman or relationship?!:confused3

Some of you women have really gone off the deep end. Calling this guy a pig and bemoaning that he so offended you. I've got an idea, turn off your computer and go spend quality time with your husband, sheesh.

Agreed. You didn't say those are the kind of women you are attracted to. No one would have given a flying fig about that. You said (and before this thread, too), that those ate deal breakers in a relationship. Big difference.

Ok well I guess we are even then because I'm offended that you are so easily offended. Not really, I don't get offended. Is this smiley better? :)

Ok that's really rude. I'm pretty sure I've seen you debate things on here before.

Yup...But like Goofyintoronto said... Such is life on the DIS.

BTW... I like you Liberty. I was agreeing with the PP mainly because of the couple of women on here straight up freaking out and calling names.

As long as he is up front about it it shouldn't be a problem. It is between him and his potential mate. If he can't find someone who measures up he'll either have to settle for something else or stay alone. Neither are any of our business.

I find the heels and hair "requirements" over the top myself but whatever, it doesn't effect me.

If you marry someone a certain way and they do a 180 ( fit and healthy to overweight and lazy) it'd be a deal breaker. Of course something that's a deal breaker isn't going to be something he's attracted to in the first place.

You are always such a ray of sunshine around here. :sunny:

Really? Now you're calling me rude?!:lmao: :lmao: You are just trying to find something to be offended at. Did I call you out? No, so you must have seen yourself or your behavior in some of my comments.

If you , general you, are not happy with your body, don't take it out on some poor guy speaking the truth on Disney message board. Get active, get healthy and quit looking to be offended.

I had the best meme for this and can't get to it on my iPad!

I like you, too. :) my friends and I don't have to agree on everything. And, glad you don't think freaking out. Sometimes I get carried away. :D

It wouldn't be to me, but like I said before, that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a problem.
