I didn't mind, and she certainly didn't, but it took one full month of near daily Washington for the pixie dust to be gone from my daughter's hair! It was insane!
Okay spent some time on the phone with Disney the AOA art classes are held every day at 11am, 2pm,and 5pm. The culinary tour at AKL is at 4pm everyday. Both last between 30-45minutes and are open to everyone.
Thanks for the information on the free AKL culinary tour! As I read in the link here, reservations are not required.. just show up at 4pm at the podium at Boma. My DS is starting in the CP on Monday, and we are arriving at WDW tomorrow. I think we are going to try to get to this tour! http://blog.touringplans.com/2012/02/27/free-tour-series-culinary-tour-at-animal-kingdom-lodge/
Found something else, tour held at the Wilderness Lodge call the WONDERS OF THE WILDERNESS. I believe it is offered at 9am Wednesday thru Saturday but call Disney to confirm.
One thing I love to do is collecting park maps and fast pass tickets (especially since in the future we will no longer have them) from the parks and attractions you visit....I know it's not an event but it's a cool free souvenir that will also be apart of history as years go by....taking the different ferries as well is a nice thing to do (kids might get restless) and someone mentioned the free movies at some of the deluxe resorts
You can get a "Not-a-Fast Pass" from any of the machines. If you do not have a FP now, Enter Card 1 (get a FP), then card 2 (get a FP), then Card 1 again. You will get a "Not-a-FastPass" which basically says you already have a FP for XXX ride and can't get another one until XXX time. Its great for scrapbooking and to remember favorite rides!
It's been awhile since I've been, but so excited to go again in Oct.
Do they still do the pulling of the sword out of the stone ceremony? I've heard about it, but never seen it.
