Eughh still feeling sick today. Another day in bed... and on the DIS. It's a beautiful, sunny, warm day here though. Only -1! Almost all of our snow is gone.

And FINALLY... Here is my Walt Disney World Top 10 List (credit goes to Enchanted!) for things I want to accomplish this trip:

1. Meet Belle! Belle is my favourite princess, but I only have one picture of me with her from years ago. I would love to get another one.

2. Visit both water parks. In all the times we've been to Disney, we've never been to one. Can't wait to see what they're all about!

3. Take the Keys to the Kingdom tour. Another thing we haven't done, and it will be cool to be able to see "backstage"

4. Eat at the Main Street Bakery. I've been inside, smelled it but... never actually eaten anything from there!

5. Get a pair of Mickey ears. Another classic Disney thing I've never done! Well, I had a pair of Minnie ears when I was five, but they were a plastic headband and hurt my head so I never wore them.

6. Attend just ONE morning extra magic hour. We've done tons of PM ones but have never been up early enough in the morning!

7. Ride Dumbo! Perhaps I'm a DIS outcast... never eaten at the MS bakery, never worn Mickey ears, never ridden Dumbo. But I promise to fix this come May!

8. "Eat around the World" at the World Showcase and get something to eat from each country.

9. Get a Tinkerbell Slush at Sleepy Hollow in MK.

10. Try to catch a ride in the front of the monorail!

Now I'm off to go nap and watch some of the planning DVD on my laptop... later this afternoon I'll catch up on all the PTRs I've been slacking on!

Oh no! I almost forgot! The Disney "If" Question for today...

If you could have a permanent Fastpass to any ride in any park, which would it be? (You can choose one ride in each park if you want!)

In MK I would choose Space Mountain.
In Epcot I would choose Soarin'
In DHS I would choose Rockin Roller Coaster
In AK I would choose either Dinosaur or Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Oh, and at the resort... I would choose a FP to the front of the line for the shower every morning!!

I love your top ten idea! Mmm...the Main Street Bakery is DH's favorite thing about MK - seriously. He has a very severe weakness for pastries, and the cupcakes there are very yummy!! And you know, I had never had a real pair of mouse ears until we got a dream pair last year? I just never felt compelled to buy them, but since they were free... Make sure to have your name stitched on them.

Great video!!! Thanks! And I'll be sure to check the water parks out for you. The Tinkerbell slush is basically a slushie twist with sour apple and watermelon. They look so yummy. Apparently they're really sour though. I want to try one though! I will definitely give the cheesecake a try, I love cheesecake... and I'm undecided on my Mickey ears for now... I will probably spend half an hour staring at the rack once I get there trying to pick a pair out.

I didn't get a call today from the throat culture results so I'm assuming no news is good news? I'm still feeling pretty under the weather so I'm going to head off to bed soon. I feel like I haven't done anything in days so hopefully I can get out of the house and accomplish something tomorrow. Spice this PTR up a little! I'm finally starting to feel better, woo hoo!!! Whatever this is, it's starting to turn into a cold now, which is great because I means I won't have a 2 week quarantine from work! Still taking Advil and I think I've used up an entire box of kleenex in the past hour LOL but I'm on my way!

The picture didn't make it into our cards this year because we didn't get back until the 23rd of December, so we have to wait until next year. The MK was soooo pretty decorated at night for MVMCP.

Yep, you sure can! I've seen it in a few different places, but I ended up buying mine at the Poly gift shop.

I hope to get to the movie tonight! I'm going to go shower, brush my teeth and take some advil now. I don't know why, but brushing my teeth always makes me feel better!

I've met that Aladdin twice now and he is so funny! Really interactive. I tried to get DM to be in the picture with me but she wouldn't have it.



Right now I'm trying to figure out my OSAP application for the 2009 school year (OSAP stands for Ontario Student Assistance Program... basically interest free student loans) and oh my gosh, it is so confusing. It's like a billion pages long and I don't even know if I'll qualify this year yet! I have my fingers crossed though, because a lot of the time they don't make you pay back the full balance... which would be super helpful!

Financing my education is stressing me out a LOT. I only get $2,000 in scholarships this year. Meaning I have to come up with another $10,000 if I want to stay out of debt (my goal is to graduate debt free!). I have some money in the bank but nowhere near $10,000. Right now I'm searching all over the place for external scholarships and bursaries. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot I qualify for. If I could win the lottery right about now, that'd be great! I'm planning on working throughout the school year which should help, but if I make around $500 a month, that's still only $4000ish. Leaving $6,000.

I have a feeling that taking on some debt in the next few years is inevitable... especially with the economy and job market blah blah blah. I just got a credit card and I'm not letting myself use it, though. I'm just trying to build my credit rating for once I'm done school, or if I need to take out student loans from the bank.

I would really like to go back to being 12, please.

I really am lucky. He's a great dad. We make fun of him sometimes because he's the first in our family to be a "senior", but pictures like that show that everyone is still a kid at heart!

Today's "If" question is inspired by a dream I had last night. I dreamed I was in a tube in the lazy river in Typhoon Lagoon (although TL was in Belgium... and my inner tube was made of stone and the whole time I was trying to figure out how they engineered it to float. But I digress. )

So it got me to thinking...

If you could be anywhere in WDW today, right in this very moment, where would you be and what would you be doing?

I would be in a hammock at the YC with a cold drink, watching the finale of IllumiNations.

The Wilderness Lodge is gorgeous. My family doesn't like it because apparently it is too "Canadian" and reminds them of home, but I think it is just beautiful. And thanks! It felt great to get out of the house today!

I could go for a ride on the TTA right about now. Definitely the most relaxing ride in the MK. I'm so bummed it's going to be closed in May. That is an amazing picture!!! Did you take it yourself? It captures the moment exactly.

So I fit a little shopping in today and thought I would share my purchases. I found a gift card for Shopper's Drug Mart (a Canadian drugstore) in my wallet and of course I had to spend it! So, I bought:

Multiple Bessings... Had to!!! This wasn't at SDM, this was at Chapters (a Canadian bookstore) No gift card here, but I couldn't resist. I need my Jon and Kate fix!

Hand sanitizer that smells like coconut and papaya.

Little cucumber eye things you can put in the fridge. Can't wait to try these out!

And finally, Benefit BadGal Mascara! I've never bought this before because it's expensive ($25) but I figured since it was "free" I might as well splurge.

I've got a pretty quiet week coming up. Tomorrow I don't have work because it's Family Day (a statutory holiday in Canada) and then Reading Week (I don't know if they call it the same thing in America... it's like Spring Break I think?)

Wow, I feel like this was a very Canadian post... Shopper's Drug Mart, Chapters, Reading Week, Family Day...

Ha, I am definitely one who likes to stray from the norm. I actually fall into the not-a-fan category when it comes to Soarin'. I know, I know. I definitely think it's something to experience at least once. But for some reason, once was enough for me. My sister did drag me on it in October. She wouldn't take no for an answer.

You can get your name stitched on them in several different places -- at MK, it's the store near Tinker Bell's Treasures (might be called Sir Mickey's). At DHS, the store that's over to your right (when you enter) on Hollywood Blvd. I think there's a store in DTD that does it too. Sorry I don't know the exact names.

If I could be anywhere in WDW right now, I'd be riding SM and then heading over to take a few rides on TTA. Sounds so fun right now...
