This may get ugly, but I thought I would try a new twist on the "I would never eat at ... again ..." thread. And hopefully it is educational since we're adding a little market-based voting to just how bad of an experience someone really had. :teacher:

Where would you never eat again even if it were free?

Or, taken to another level, is there a place where, even if Disney offered to pay you (maybe a mystery shop or something like that) you would not take the offer?

Since the opportunities for meals are limited on each trip, time for commuting/waiting is valuable, and memories are valuable (and bad memories are costly), we definitely have a few.

The top of our list would be Tony's. Disney would have to pay me $15 per person to eat there. Honestly, it was that bad, made us feel that bad afterwards, and took that much time away from our activities in MK.

Any place top your list?

Yup. Its Tony's for me too. They'd literally have to pay me about $100 PER ENTREE to eat there again.

It was down right disgusting. I dont know where they get off calling that Italian. But they need a strong lesson in how to make proper/edible marinara sauce.

Pinocchio Village Haus, all of our food was terrible, even the fries. The only time I liked it there was at the MVMCP when we got the free coffee and cookies!

The Luau at the Poly. Once was more than enough. :crazy2: I wouldn't take Disney's money to eat there again.

Funny, so it sounds like if Disney paid you in coffee and cookies, you would eat there again! :coffee:

Crystal Palace. I'm usually pretty forgiving and for the most part haven't needed to be with Disney restaurants, but our last meal there was so bad all the way around - long wait to be seated, less than helpful manager who wouldn't/couldn't waive the no-show fee when we wanted to leave, terrible character interaction with no handlers to stop kids from other tables butting in out of turn, a mostly absent server, and mediocre food at best. In the end it was 2.5 miserable hours with unimpressive food and still only seeing 3 of the 4 characters. I don't care if they are paying, my vacation time is worth too much to waste on that sort of experience.

Agreed! Definitely would not go back to Tonys!

Hollywood and Vine. They'd have to pay me at least $50.00. I've eaten there twice and it was bad both times.

Just curious, how much would Disney have to pay you to eat at Ohana again? Has that changed over time?

'Ohana to me is way overpriced and the food and service isn't very good. If they gave me a free meal, perhaps I would think about it.

No, it hasn't changed over time I never found it good.

Another vote for Hollywood and Vine. The food was just so-so and those metal chairs made the whole experience uncomfortable.

Hollywood & Vine
ABC Commissary - bleh.
Kouzzina (1st time was ok, 2nd time I sent my lamb back & didn't get order any replacement meal)

Hollywood and Vine. Bad food. And our server told us the walk on that side of the dining room was very long so she had to consolidate her trips. Which meant empty drink glasses most of the meal and waiting forever for the check. Never again.

Mine would have to be 1900 Park Fare for dinner (breakfast is good).
All I could stomach was the salad and desserts. Maybe an off day, but was gross to all in our party and we by no means are picky eaters.

Sci-Fi Drive In....Disney would have to pay for my whole trip to get me to eat there again.

Another vote for Hollywood & Vine, worst meal ever! Horrible food, horrible service, dirty!!
