They would have to pay me $ to eat at...

Hmmm...granted it's been years since i was at crystal palace for lunch or dinner...and i know how shoddy the buffets can be...

but i just looked at the menu...april 2012 revision...and it is one of the more interesting ones i've ever scene

The do have the prime rib on it....

It was also listed on the menu when we ate there last year. But what we had wasn't prime rib; we all thought it was a (very overcooked) sirloin tip or london broil. Hopefully when you go you'll get the real deal.

Nine Dragons--the only restaurant I have ever been to where even the rice was terrible and the egg rolls inedible. And I am not a picky eater. San Angel Inn--love the atmosphere-but it's so dark and last time we were there the waitress tried to excuse the burned chili rellenos by telling me you're not supposed to eat the pepper, just the inside. It was burned BLACK(I think-lol). We were going to the Candlight Processional and didn't have time to argue with her-awful service, but the pepper was really the cake! Other than those two, I'll eat anywhere, even the Commissary or Pinocchios.

Really there's no where I would not go. Some are not as good as others but to me much of it is what you order when go and what are your expectations?

The reason I say that is because while several folks here say Tony's is the worst they have had, actually I have had one of my best meals ever at Tony's. It was a special and was a grilled veal chop, bone in, with mashed sweet potatos and a ceasar salad. Yes their pasta is dicey at times, but I never order it.

The character meals are always questionable in my mind because they don't always cater to fine diners.

Also many times the tone is set in such a way that before you even look at the menu you are guareenteed to have a bad meal. The wait was to long, your ADR was screwed up, etc. and that experience sours the whole meal. Add to that a bad waiter, bad service, or a noisey kid at the next table and the whole thing goes south.

:thumbsup2 I agree with you.

I would have to say Chefs. I thought the food was awful but our service was even worse. I know many peope love it so maybe it was just an off day-but as of now we have NO intention of going back....

Can't really say I've had a bad dining experience at WDW, quick service or table service. But in my opinion, most of the buffets (Chef's, Tusker, Cape etc) aren't worth the cost regardless if you're on a dining plan or not.

We stay clear of the buffets now - especially at breakfast time.

CAPTAINS GRILLE horrible service, food and manager. funny is they did kind of pay me to eat there bc I had such an awful experience I was given a resort credit by the Yacht Club's manager.

I actually liked the Captain's grill as far as the food/menu. But I agree, the service was terrible. It wasn't crowded at all either.

Planet Hollywood at DTD. :scared1:

Horrible food (wilted lettuce and warm cheese in my salad), way too loud, tables too close together (there was no way to even pull the chairs out from the table), rude waiter (spilled food on us and didn't say a word). Ick!!!!!!

Maya Grill at Coronado Springs.......sevice was horrible :mad:and the food was just ok!

Been traveling to WDW for over 37 yr sometimes too or three times in some of those years , have always taken the dining plan when we go ( guys in family big eaters) the worst meals we have had were at

Ohana's Dinner :

I am not a coconut person , cant stand the taste of it and everything from there tasted like coconut UGH

The Wave : Contemp.

We ate there once , when it first opened , had steak , roated potatoes and some kind of vegetable mix , cant remember the desert but it was three different kind of little pastry things ( see now the menu has changed since but not willing to give it anohter go) The steak was very small, about the size of a half dollar coin , got 4 small quarters of potato wedges and no clue what the vegetables were but they were not cooked through either. the little desert cups were about the size of a quarter coin. Price was 39.00 for that meal and when we left there Hungry and had to find other food to fill us up elsewhere decided to never venture there again ....

France in Epcot :
ordered the Demi poulet fermier roti, pommes rissolees et tomate grillee - (Half of an all-natural roasted chicken, rissole potatoes and grilled tomato) and ended up sending it back to kitchen 3 times ( after third time just refused to eat it) the chicken was NOT cooked bloody once you got past outside of chicken , Now i like my steaks medium rare , but like my chicken and pork cooked but this was raw just oozed of blood when you cut into it . Waiter was quite annoyed that I sent it back several times, I pointed out all the blood in chicken , and said would u eat this like this , he just rolled his eyes at me , I told him dont bother to bring another plate . Manager could have cared less .......and was basically ignored the complaint

Akershus...definitely our worst meal EVER at Disney. Princesses are awesome, but food was terrible.

Any buffet, German restaurant, Tony's. We did not care for the main dishes at raglan road. ( bread pudding was yummy). Kids still talk about that " awful Irish place."Last week I walked through Hollywood and vine. It smelled awful! I am a teacher, and it seemed worse than our school cafeteria.

Chef Mickeys or Tony's Town Square. Unless you like Pizza Hut and Olive Garden then go ahead and eat at Tony's Oh and Hollywood & Vine. Did it once a few years ago for the characters at breakfast, and last year just to get the in park before opening. From now on, we'll wait in line at the gates!
