They did always check our ID's..even if we were just getting on the boats to go from the campground to the parks. One ID per family was needed.
Now, it is included when you buy hoppers, and I don't think they can take the time with the amount of people they are moving. There were only two parks when they checked ID's, and we seldom did much more than go to the Poly for the dinner show..or the campground for the HDD review.
We just got home on the 16th and we rode the monorail from MK to GF, and the only thing said to us..was that if we were looking for TTC, we were in the wrong line..but we were welcome to take a look and visit the resorts. At the contemporary, we boarded the mono rail several times, and never had to show any ID (we weren't staying there, but had come to pin trade). They did have a guard and signs up by the boats from MK..and when we approached (we were going to the WL to pin trade, he said if we were leaving, we wanted to go over to the TTC boat..we told him we meant to go to WL..and he pointed us down past him. I thought he was there, just to prevent people from following the crowds and taking the wrong transportation.
