Hiya Disney friends,
Have had my disney shareholders card a few months and have just realised they have spelt my name wrong they have put an extra K in it!:confused3:worship::confused3:worship::confused3
Do they ask for id alongside your shareholder card? will they notice? would hate to go to all that trouble for them to refuse my card! :confused3

thankyou! :)

I'd doubt it, they check id but it's comparing the photo on your id to you standing in front of them rather than them noticing an extra K in your name :goodvibes

As long as the names match up you should be fine even with an extra K, its only if the name was totally different.

At one time they just took another bank card as ID to check names, I think they prefer the photo id method now.

Do you know if they will accept any photo ID; as I'm not too keen to carry my passport around with me?? Thanks:thumbsup2

I know some might not agree, but I'd much rather keep my passport in the hotel room safe than carry around with me. I suppose you could take driving licence but again, it's another document to possibly lose!

Why do you need photo ID - is this alongside your Shareholder's card when buying things or when accessing Salon Mickey?

Personally, when you go to renew in 2 years or whatever, I would ask them for them to change it.

I haven't yet been asked for additional ID when using my shareholders card, anywhere. But I have photoID anyway, in the form of my AP.

Aha Elaine - I never thought of the AP, thank you. That is useful :thumbsup2. I really wouldn't like carrying my passport around - I'd be bound to lose it! Mind you, being stranded at DLRP has it's advantages :lmao:.

ooh this poses a dilemma for me - my passport is still in my maiden name what if i dont change it before my next trip do i get my shares in my married name or my maiden name and then renew it when i renew my shares ????:confused:

I usually have my driving licence with me

Thanks.:thumbsup2 My driving license has my maiden name on it as I've had to stop driving on medical grounds; I never bothered to change it into my married name but I have an ID card with a photo and my married name so will take that; as I always have my passport as a back up.:goodvibes

I was asked quite a few times last May - never have been before so I think they're hotting up on it.

I like to leave my passport in the safe (apart from departure day when I've got no choice but to carry it) but carry my driving licence and they were happy with that.

Yes I'm the same with my passport and am reluctant to carry it on me; but I haven't got a driving license with my married name on it; so wondered if other photo ID would be okay??? Thanks:thumbsup2

Sorry, I missed you saying about your driving licence in your earlier post.

Yes, I'd try using your other photo ID. They're only making sure you haven't 'lent' your card to someone else so hopefully will accept it. If the worst happens and they won't accept it you'll just have to go and get your passport.

You may not even get asked! :)

Thanks. I'm just a stress head! So excited about going! lol! We're staying onsite at the Santa Fe - so just a short walk back for our passport.:goodvibes
