They are rennovating our local Joanne's!

After having the kids home for the last 3 days I REALLY needed to get out by myself and visit some of my "happy" places! My first stop was to Dunkin' Donuts of course for an iced coffee so I would have the energy!

I stopped by our local Joanne's and was VERY happy to see the sign saying they would be starting to rennovate on April 6th and it would take about a month. I asked about the craft section and the manager I spoke with said they would be INCREASING that area! Yay! With moving things around she said they would be increasing the floor space by 500 feet! (at least that's what I thought I heard...)

I have always liked our store as the ladies working there are friendly. I also like how they often have the paper stacks on sale (I got the spring one today after I fondled the pages for a while...love the colors!)

Can't wait to see what they come up with!

HI Jill, is the the Milford one? I never go there because their scrap book section was always so bad.
If I remember right you are going to see Mickey soon? April vacation? I have a good friend stay at AKL she is a DVC member April vacation too. I can't wait it's like 8 weeks until we go. I just made all our ADR last night. The kids are going to Simba's clubhouse one night, I'm a little nervous leaving them with people I don't know, but that means Jim and I at Disney with NO kids for a night I haven't been to our nomal meeting grounds lately I guess that's why I haven't seen you. I hope all is well, Nancy

Hey Nancy! Haven't seen you in WalMart lately! yes, it's the Milford store! The manager said they were actually *increasing* the craft section - yay!

We are heading to Disney for April vacation so we are under 4 weeks now - can't wait! I had my hysterectomy back on 2/28 so I am still in recovery mode but doing well. I will need to take it easy this trip. When are you going??? My kids really enjoyed Simba's Cubhouse (and The Neverland Club at the Polynesian) but now Aaron has aged out (13) of the kids club so no more nights out alone for us. Your boys will have each other and they will do fine. The cm's at all the clubs are trained to deal with a variety of children. As Aaron got older he brought his gameboy with him and then ended up having all the younger boys hanging around him. Where are you going for dinner? We always went to Jiko's and now the kids go with us and they like it too since they can get pizza.

HI Jill,
We are going May 22 to 29. I pulling the kids out of school, both their teachers said the would be OK missing a week. We are going to go to Narcoossee's while the kids are at Simba's. Have you been to the Pirate and Princess party? We are going, I can't wait.

Hi Jill, I was at WM this morning I was looking for you. Every time I go there I say I'll never go back but I do. The help in there drives me nuts. I'm just opening alot of the new CM stuff, I'm loving it. I hope you are doing well, Nancy
