Maybe they hold some tables back or just don't open them all. I don't know.

You've never seen the Jammin Jungle parade??? Really? Wow and I thought I was bad! We saw it on our very first trip and really liked it. But ever since then we have gone to AK at opening and have been out of there by 12 or 1, hours before the parade. So, this time we are going to go to AK around 11 and stay until we see that parade!! I'd like to see the Nemo show too, but none of the boys are interested. . .

I am afraid I am going to feel the same way as Belle did about WCC.

Is this kiosk in Mexico by the Kidcot station (btw-which is where exactly?) I have never seen it. It sounds hilarious!

ugh for fires Hopefully the season isn't too bad this year. And I hope the weather in Anaheim is nicer in a few weeks...I looked at the 15 day forecast which only goes to 9/11 and we won't be there until 9/17, but it's saying low 80's, high 70's, and that sounds lovely.

I'm sure the memorial service will be lovely. Hugs to you, your wife, and your boys...

Okay, here's my bad mommy confession. My youngest son is 18 and graduated this year. But he had to finish in summer school because he didn't have enough credits because he was lazy and wouldn't do the work -- you know the kind of kid, A's on the tests and 0's on the homework? So he tells me that it's MY fault because I "never installed a work ethic in him". Give me a flippin' break -- how is it that his father, both of his brothers, and I all have strong work ethics, but somehow we missed sharing this with him....

I am a little frustrated about my flights. We decided to try Jet Blue, since it flies directly from Sacramento to Long Beach -- don't have to fly out of San Francisco, which is a royal pain. We've never flown before but since it's a 6 1/2-7 1/2 hour drive (and the drive HOME is the most exhausting) so we thought we'd give it a shot. So the tix were originally about $120. I didn't jump on them right away, and we ended up paying $149 each. Still not horrible, I thought, to make it an hour trip each way, not paying for gas, all the time saved, etc. Now I checked today, and the tix would only be $119 each! But too late, I paid more, and there's a fee to change, so that is annoying. I had no idea the prices might come down, especially this close to the date.

Good news, though...got my ticket package UPS yesterday!

Mark's very funny Uncle thought he could outwit me at the family wedding over the summer.
He asked me what I did all day long while the kids were at school since I didn't work.

So i said "Oh you know-- the usual house stuff."

He said "The usual house stuff like WHAT? Like eating bon bons while watching your soap operas?" and laughed.

To which I replied-- "Oh yes, well, you do know that I am a kept woman. I really don't have time for much else."

OMG - That is what I said at my BFF's wedding. Someone asked me what I did all day, and I replied that being a trophy wife is hard work. Manis, pedis, facials, botox, working out, shopping, ...

Then I just smiled and walked away.

And they believed me!!!

I'm all alone today. Bob had to go to work and won't be home for a while.

So, I am cleaning and doing laundry when I really just want to be doing my TR. Maybe later....

Tonight we are going to a friends house to play board games and hang out. This is going to be all the people that are going to the beach with us next month.There will be 8 of us But it should be fun!

I am really looking forward to a relaxing vacation. As much as I loooove Mickey I need a week where I can just lay in the sun and read a good book

It's a really nice cool day here. It does not feel like August here at ALL But I'm OK with it. It feels like fall. My fav time of year!! Bring on the pumpkin patches and apple cidar!

I'm about 3/4 done with Eclipse at the moment. I expect I'll be done tomorrow night. The part about Jasper's past freaked me out a little last night.

I have - and I am really excited!!! I saw a photo shoot with Dakota Fanning (who is playing Jane - IDK if you knew that) and she looks super creepy.

At first I wasn't sure if I liked the idea of her being Jane, but I took another look at her after I found out - and she is absolutely perfect. She's just what I pictured.

I can't wait!

So in Eclipse.... are you at the part with a tent?



I won't say anything else in case you're not there yet- but that is my FAVORITE part in the whole book.

Well, it's not finished - but it's getting there! There is still a few more things that I need to hang up on the wall... But here it is! Almost finished!
