I would totally eat it!! :rotfl:

Me too...it's not like there was dirty underwear in there.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Well- if I get sick- it's both of you guys' fault.:lmao:

I'm sitting here with tiny colored foil bits strewn all around me.

Um.... they were good.:laughing:

I know that I have an addiction to underwear. Seriously- I know that I do-- a girl can never have too many, I am aware of that. But to think that the bag of chocolate got lost in that drawer of.... drawers... scares me.:eek:

So I counted the pairs of underwear I have. 220+. :scared1::scared1: All from Victoria's Secret. All in that drawer.

I think I need an intervention.

And stock in that company.:lmao:

Jo

Okay, so it looks as if I can't get into T-Rex the night I wanted anyway. No way. No how. All booked. I have been trying to switch my LeCellier night since about 3 days after I made my ADR's and it's a no go too. :confused3 I am starting to worry about crowds due to the free dining. . .

Yikes!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it's just b/c those are two popular places to eat???? Maybe it won't be that bad.

I have heard mixed reviews on TRex. I'm really starting to think about restaurants in WDW the way I view the hotels there. You have to try it ou for yourself- no one can say for sure whether you'd like it or not.

Wow, you could go almost a whole year without having to wash a pair your undies. I am impressed.

So here's what I have on my itinerary now~

Sat Nov 7 - Arrival. Hopefully early. Not sure yet because I STILL HAVE NO AIRFARE!!! :mad: Check into POR. Have lunch at the food court and hang out at the resort a bit. Head to DHS in the afternoon and have dinner at Sci-Fi. Maybe stay for awhile - depending on the crowds. Not expecting to do much, it is the last day of Jersey Week.

Sun Nov 8 - Sleep in. Go to AK around 11 or so. Have lunch at Pizzafari. Watch the Jammin Jungle parade for the first time since 2005! After the parade take the bus to the WL. Check it out and have dinner at WCC. Hopefully we won't think it is the dumbest place ever! :rotfl:

Mon Nov 9 - Hang out at resort in morning. Head to DTD around 11:00. Have lunch at WPE. Shop! The afternoon is free for swimming or whatever. We have a dinner ADR at San Angle Inn. We may or may not use it. We will see. So we will head to Epcot in the evening if we decide to eat there. If not we will spend the evening at the Boardwalk and eat at BRG or B&C. . .

Tue Nov 10 - Be at DHS for rope drop! Still undecided on where to have a CS lunch. Stay at DHS until about 4ish. Take the boat to the Boardwalk. We have a dinner ADR at the Captain's Grille. We may or may not eat there! If we decide not to then we will either go to BRG or B&C. . . Then we will head back to DHS because it is the first night for the Osborne Lights!! :santa:

Wed Nov 11 - Sleep in. Free morning at POR to swim or whatever. Lunch at POR food court. Head to MK around 2 or 3. Have dinner at Cosmic Rays. Maybe watch Spectro. Definitely watch Wishes!

Thur Nov 12 - Late breakfast at Kona Cafe. From there take the monorail to Epcot. Spend the rest of the day there. Dinner at LeCellier. :cloud9: Then IllumiNations.

Fri Nov 13 - FRIDAY THE 13TH!! :scared1: We will move over to OKW today! Not sure how that will go exactly. We may have an early lunch at the POR food court and then call a cab, or we may call the cab and move first and have lunch at Goods To Go at OKW. :confused3 We'll see. I have a feeling DH will want to get moved ASAP that day. I am just worried OKW won't have a room for us that early. The rest of the day is open. We will probably swim at OKW at some point. And spend some time on our balcony. I hope we get a nice view! We may end up back at DHS to see the lights again. Or maybe at Epcot for one more ride on TT and Soarin. Who knows.

Sat Nov 14 - Crystal Palace breakfast bright & early! We will be in MK before rope drop! Spend the day at MK until maybe 3 or 4. Probably have a late lunch at Casey's (since I am making them try Cosmic Rays earlier in the week!). Then head back to OKW for the evening. Maybe go to DTD one more time. Pack up and have a good cry. :sad1:

Sun Nov 15 - Departure.

Has anyone been to T-Rex in DTD? I was just reading my friend Lisa's TR and T-Rex looks amazing! Now I am thinking about trying to squeeze in one more ADR! :rotfl: But it would be OOP and her bill was $100. Trying to decide if it would be worth it. . . :confused3

Check out her pictures of it - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2262690&page=20 They are on this page and also on the next one.

Shelly - We went in March! It was awesome! Even my teenager liked it. In fact, when we were in Dallas a couple of weekends ago eating at Rainforest Cafe, the kids were talking about T-Rex being so much cooler. It is like Sea said, Rainforest Cafe but with Dinosaurs. I think the animatronics may be a little better. The Ice Room changes colors. The food was good, very similar to Rainforest Cafe, my kids say it was better.

I think your boys would get a kick out of it.

I think you are right! You never know until you try something for yourself. Although I would still like to know if it's worth $100 before I try it! :rotfl:

I wasn't too impressed with Rainforest when we went there in 2005. :confused3 The pictures of T-Rex look way cooler though! We'll see. . . maybe I'll keep trying for that ADR. The only thing open is a 3:00, which doesn't really fit our plans.

Um,,,,,,,, that is a weekly occurance in my household. yOu're doing really well with it only happening once.:rotfl2:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

That is hilarious.

Well, my situation was worse than I thought. :confused: When I got to the school, the front office ladies laughed at me. :confused: The receptionist callled down to Belle's room to get her to come to the office and her eyes got HUGE and she yelled to me "SHE'S IN PE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!! RUN!!!!" So I go ripping down the hall, throw the gym door open and there she is, in all her glory, playing KICKBALL in her flip flops. :confused:
But oh no, it couldn't just be flip flops. They were her HIGH HEELED flips so she was about the turn an ankle.
Then I went strolling down to her classroom, where I see her teacher and her teacher informs me that Belle, bless her heart, is so precious and adorable and she loves her to death, but is quite a little stinker b/c she is flirting with all the boys in class. :confused: She then proceeds to tell me that Belle is a little bit behind in math (which I already knew- she got her mad math skillz from her mama :rolleyes1)-- and could we do a little homework with her this weekend.:eek:
All this because I let her wear her flips to school.:lmao:
Ay yi yi.

WE ARE THOSE KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:laughing:

Shelly---- okay- if it's cream, I vote Brown. I heart brown!:lovestruc

:rotfl:

Sea- I hope your weekend goes smoothly for you all.:hug:

Okay- off to read RF's TR.

Yay for a TR to read!

Jo

WE ARE THOSE KIDS TOO, but it gets worse, I didn't even realize it until I read that you were that I could be!

:lmao:

I just went to the public library yesterday to pay $40 for a book that DS lost. I swore we had turned it in. Well, when I went to pay yesterday (60 days since I got the notice which declares the book as officially lost 90 days past it's due date.) And I try to pay and they tell me that the book has been found. In the freaking library. :scared1::headache: I turned my house and two cars upside down, twice this summer looking for that stinking book. :headache::mad::headache:

:cloud9: But the good news is that I didn't have to pay the $40! :goodvibes

Okay, so it looks as if I can't get into T-Rex the night I wanted anyway. No way. No how. All booked. I have been trying to switch my LeCellier night since about 3 days after I made my ADR's and it's a no go too. :confused3 I am starting to worry about crowds due to the free dining. . .

Shelly, this cannot be possible. I called the night before and got right in at the time I requested. For T-Rex that is.

Maybe they hold some tables back or just don't open them all. I don't know. :confused3

I just wanted to add, all of my terrible parenting offenses have occured over the last 8 school days.

When I took DD's lunch to the school yesterday, I also took a box of Cheese-its for the teacher who fed her earlier this week when she forgot. I also had to take 3 poster boards which needed to go to art, and a form I had filled out for yet another teacher. I looked like a pack mule!

I wasn't too impressed with Rainforest when we went there in 2005. :confused3 The pictures of T-Rex look way cooler though! We'll see. . . maybe I'll keep trying for that ADR. The only thing open is a 3:00, which doesn't really fit our plans.

I do think T-Rex is cooler than Rainforest. :thumbsup2

LOL! You must own stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

We have never seen that parade. I can't believe it, buit we haven't. Strange- with as much as I like a parade.:laughing:
WCC-- well remember- Belle said when we were there- "this is the stoopidest place I ever been." I think it's fun.

If not we will spend the evening at the Boardwalk and eat at BRG or B&C. . .
Well, this sounds like a relaxing vacation so far!!! You might like San ANgel-- make sure when you're in there, find the spot where the Kidcot station is-- and find the little kiosk where you can send yourselves an email of you diving off of a cliff in Mexico. It is so freaking funny. WE do it every year- and last year- we sent one of my head on a mans body in a speedo to one of Mark's coworkers email at work and he called Mark's cell within like, 3 minutes and he was laughing so hard he was crying.
Tue Nov 10 - Be at DHS for rope drop! Still undecided on where to have a CS lunch. Stay at DHS until about 4ish. Take the boat to the Boardwalk. We have a dinner ADR at the Captain's Grille. boo hoo boo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sun Nov 15 - Departure.

220 pair of underwear??!! :eek: Seriously??
Yes Unfortunately, I am serious. I told you I have a problem.:rotfl2:
Shelly - We went in March! It was awesome! Even my teenager liked it. In fact, when we were in Dallas a couple of weekends ago eating at Rainforest Cafe, the kids were talking about T-Rex being so much cooler. It is like Sea said, Rainforest Cafe but with Dinosaurs. When we went to Rainforest cafe at DL... I really didn't like it. Which was sad- b/c we had eaten at the one at WDW before and liked it.
So I'm 50/50 on the food there. I'd like to try TRex to see if we like it any better.

Jo

Jo - you must be rockin' some teeny weeny bikini's if you can fit 220 pairs of underwear in ONE DRAWER!

Or you have a dresser made for a giant.....

I have a lot too - but, only maybe 60 or 70... Dang girl! :lmao:

So now I know we are alike. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I had the same thing happen to me at the library with Drew in Pittsburgh! I KNEW I had turned a library book in- (Late, of course, but hey- at least I got it there-) and then about a month later I got a late notice for it. Well,dummy me, I think that somehow I didn't turn it in-- after I knew I had turned it in ( Kind of like the whole "I voted for it before I voted against it" debacle years ago--) and I yelled and screamed at Drew (bad mom that I am) and we tore his room, Belle's room, the car, the LR- the basement- all of it -- up in our search for the missing book.

I go to pay the fine- and whadda' ya know-- they say "Oh- we found that book about two days ago.":eek::confused:

Then we came home and I made them clean their rooms that I had trashed.

:laughing:

Probably while I DIS'ed.

:scared1::scared1::scared1:

:surfweb::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I can't tell you how good it feels to know I have a twinsey in the World.:rotfl:

LOL! It's a little bit of both- a very deep drawer -- for underwear only--- nothing else-- and they are teeny weeny. But not teeny weeny as some I have had the displeasure of seeing.:sick::laughing:

Wonder Twin Powers Activate!!!

Form of a Carpool Line!

Form of a Lunch Bag!

OMG! That is too hilarious. Most times I am embarassed to post this stuff, sad but true.

I even went to the school with Chris the week before it ended and made him walk with me to every stinkin' lost and found file in every building.

The Middle School Building.

The Cafeteria.

The Gym.

He was mortified. :sad2:

Stinkin' book, I am sure it was in the stinkin' library all the time.

Well, time for carpool line.

And it's pouring rain!

Fun!

Jo

So, I caved and finally joined facebook. I 'friended' all of you guys that I knew have a facebook - but I'm not sure if I got everyone. :thumbsup2

Friend me! :yay:

Hi Mayers from smokey SoCal.

We have fires to the east of us, La Canada Flintridge and to the south Rancho Palos Verdes. They are each about 30 miles away from us, but the wind blows the smoke all over the place.

And it is hot here too - high 90's. YUCK!

http://cbs2.com/local/Fire.Watch.Angeles.2.1148796.html

Tomorrow, we are having my MIL's memorial service at the church. Been really busy putting together slide show and memorial folder. I also setup a blog this week so that our relatives in Germany can see photos and slide show video since they can't make it to the service. Today, we are getting the food and flowers ready for tomorrow - lots of work - but we got it done!

Sea

ugh for fires :headache: Hopefully the season isn't too bad this year. And I hope the weather in Anaheim is nicer in a few weeks...I looked at the 15 day forecast which only goes to 9/11 and we won't be there until 9/17, but it's saying low 80's, high 70's, and that sounds lovely.

I'm sure the memorial service will be lovely. :hug: Hugs to you, your wife, and your boys...

PS....

So I found this stash of Nestle's chocolate crunch eggs left over from Easter (!!!) shoved waaaaaaaaaaaay wayyyyyyyyy waaaaaayyyyyyyyy back in the back of my----------------------------
underwear drawer.:lmao:

How they got there, i have no clue. :scared1:

But I'm really really really wanting the chocolate.

Do ya think it's safe to eat??????????????

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

ummmmmmm.....

Me too...it's not like there was dirty underwear in there.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Yeah, what she said! :thumbsup2

Seriously, Jo...220 pairs??? I think you need to join Undies Anonymous.

Okay, here's my bad mommy confession. My youngest son is 18 and graduated this year. But he had to finish in summer school because he didn't have enough credits because he was lazy and wouldn't do the work -- you know the kind of kid, A's on the tests and 0's on the homework? So he tells me that it's MY fault because I "never installed a work ethic in him". :scared1: Give me a flippin' break -- how is it that his father, both of his brothers, and I all have strong work ethics, but somehow we missed sharing this with him.... :rolleyes:

I am a little frustrated about my flights. We decided to try Jet Blue, since it flies directly from Sacramento to Long Beach -- don't have to fly out of San Francisco, which is a royal pain. We've never flown before but since it's a 6 1/2-7 1/2 hour drive (and the drive HOME is the most exhausting) so we thought we'd give it a shot. So the tix were originally about $120. I didn't jump on them right away, and we ended up paying $149 each. Still not horrible, I thought, to make it an hour trip each way, not paying for gas, all the time saved, etc. Now I checked today, and the tix would only be $119 each! :headache: But too late, I paid more, and there's a fee to change, so that is annoying. I had no idea the prices might come down, especially this close to the date.

Good news, though...got my ticket package UPS yesterday! :goodvibes
