We are still waiting on the short sale house. We drove by a few more houses last night but ended up in the driveway of the short sale house by the end of our tour!

Our realtor is pulling all kinds of tricks out of her sleeve! She now wants us to accept the offer the people have given us on our house and pull our offer on the short sale house and resubmit a new lower offer on it to make up for the difference. Well that's going to be quite a drop in the offer we have in on it now. But she thinks it will be more enticing because it will no longer have the contingency on it because we will have accepted the offer on our house.

So then you'd still own the lot? And maybe have a hard time sellling it?

Yep, you got it all about right!!

She sure doesn't want to lose this opportunity. The short sale house is not her listing, but it is listed with her company. She stand to gain there. She of course would get a boat load of money from our sale. And now that she is the one showing our potential buyer our house I'm sure she's counting on being able to list their current house.

Her idea also includes us pretty much just giving them the extra lot in the deal. Which for what they offered us is giving them one heck of a deal on the whole thing. But it does get us out from underneath of having to deal with the other lot. So *IF* they will accept our new lower offer on the house that we want, we really haven't lost anything, and actually will come up with the number that we needed/wanted in the end. I'm just not so sure they are going to accept that much of a lower offer.

well- whatever it takes just to get the house you want.-- the one you went to the driveway of.


You're like I was with my house- we went to 50 billion and didn't know what to do- I called my girlfriend crying b/c we had to get back to PGh and had to do something.
She said "Jodi, where are you?" And I said "I'm sitting on the floor in the master bedroom of the house I like" She laughed and said "Sounds like you found your house."


I really really hope it all works out for you.

Yep! That pretty much sums it up. She came up with this idea yesterday and was going to talk to everyone involved and get back to us today, but we haven't heard from her yet. . . .

nope...they paid for the inspector so I don't get the info. i'll just know if it's a yes or no by wednesday. I guess if it's a no, we can see if we can get a copy.

My agent just called.

So he said that he talked to their agent...it looks like we are moving along and there wasn't anything major come up according to their agent. (I'll trust this when I hear it and see it officially. Until I see that signed piece of paper..it won't be done to me!

Apparently they were to head to the bank tonight...so I hope that means good news and a release for me from all this stress.

shelly- oh wow- sorry that's not going to work. I was hoping it would all rurn out, that scenario. Well- have you ahd any other showings? How's the market there right now? Maybe it will pick up here with the weather getting nicer.

NC- have fun with your BF! When I first read that- I thought- wow- she's got a BOYfriend. I was like, hum....

Mari-- well, at least you have somewhere to get a Disney fix. Sorry you're feeling blue. It's hard for the MAYers to be non-MAYer MAYers when it's MAYer time, isn't it???:


Today- let's see- got a busy schedule. MCat is with Mark at work for a job shadowing- and she gets to meet the President and CEO of an extremely well known company- whose product I can guarantee you that most every one of you have in their pantry. Mark is giving a presentation to him and she gets to watch. That will be cool.
So then- Mark is taking them to lunch- but I have to run get her and take her to lunch- then back to his work.
Then, I have to run to Drew's performance at 1 pm for the musical- then run him home, change, showered and back tot he school in 45 minutes for the final performance tonight.

Whew. I'm tired. This week is going to be draining. everyday gets worse than the one before as far as schedules.

Hum..

oh yes- I'm doing a Countown to Cali!!!

Today is 17 sleeps!!!!








Woo hoo! I have no idea what I'm counting down to- but o-kay, anyway-- bring on the sand in the bikini.
