Mornin!

RF- hope your vacation is the best ever and you get lots of pixie dust sprinkled upon your heads!:wizard:

Lake-- good thoughts and prayers for the inspection on Monday. When are you going to start looking at houses???

Sea- awwww- thanks. It was completely a surprise when Mark came home and said "You're going to Laguna with me.":goodvibes We had talked about it but never decided anything. One of my girlfriends is going out to stay with her DH too so I'll have company while Mark is at the meetings-- but truthfully--- I just want to be alone for mommy sanity time.:lmao:

Warning-- Mom brag ahead...:goodvibes
Sooooooo-
the musical last night was wonderful!:lovestruc

Drew was very nervous until he got out there on stage- and then- it was just magical and flowed.

I was so nervous I couldn't eat a thing-- until they brought out dessert at the almost end- after his big solo musical numbers. And I couldn't turn down cheesecake, now could I??:lmao:

Of course, at the end, when Wonka gives his factory to Charlie- and they put the cape and hat on Drew-- I cried--:upsidedow he went running up the stairs and lifted his arms at the precise moment when the music ended. It went off perfectly. There were right at 300 people there last night with around 100 kids in the production.

My pics didn't turn out great-- the tables were situated really strange and I had a hard time getting a good shot. But my girlfriend got some and I'll be at both of Tuesday's shows -- sitting on the front row to get some good ones.

I'll load some pics to photobucket and post them-- he loved the candy bouquet-- all Wonka candy, of course. :goodvibes His eyes bugged out when I gave it to him- b/c it's huge.:)

Drew now says the acting/ singing bug has bitten him hard-- he wants to do other productions---
so--- it looks like Drew will be a singing Quarterback.:rotfl:

All right- thanks for letting me brag a bit.:lovestruc

I'm here all day- someone come out to play.

Jo

That guy has been in a TON of stuff! Does Jeremy get all these peoples' autographs, or does he just play it cool? :cool2:

LOL - talking about meeting famous people...Jeremy saw David Paymer today again. He was in Oceans 13, Brothers and Sisters, and lots of other movies and tv shows over the years. He is in the new movie "Drag Me To Hell" which comes out next week. He does a lot of "character" actor work. He comes in to the store on a regular basis and they talk about movies all the time. Nice guy.

Check out his bio here:

Good morning Mayers!

RF - Have a great time and a safe trip!

Jo - That is so cool that Drew had a great performance. Acting AND singing in your first big time performance is great feat and not easily done. Sounds like he is natural. Do you need an agent? Got those headshots ready? LOL! Can't wait to see the pictures. Congratulations!

Trix - Jeremy usually gets autograph and a camera phone picture if he senses that they don't mind. He is a voracious reader of movie, music facts and history, so he knows how to talk about their accomplishments or some particularly obscure story that gets them to open up and converse with them.

NC - Hey!

Lake - Sounds like everything is humming along ... have fun looking at homes.

Sea

Awesome Jo!

If I get the lead in a musical will you make me one??? :rotfl2:

How did Drew feel about all the makeup?

Jo - Great pictures! That candy bouquet is awesome! Did you make the cupcakes with the chocolate writing "Congrats Drew"??? That is super awesome! How did you do that writing? I would like to do that for my wife's birthday next week.

hahahaha- Drew was okay with the makeup- his dad- not so much, LOL.

Sea- very easy to do--
take choc chips, melt them in the microwave, at 10-15 sec intervals, stirring after each until smooth. Take a ziplock bag, spoon it in, snip a teeny piece of of one corner. Spray Pam cooking spray onto a piece of aluminum foil- and then just write in cursive out onto the foil. Then freeze or refrigerate for about 30 minutes- peel off slowly- and working quickly- it melts super fast-- place it on your cake. I did squiggly whirls too. Very fun and festive. I made the cupcakes from a mix and frosted them with a butt load of frosting with a decorators press- then used sprinkles- lots of sprinkles, 'cause everything's better with them.:)

Trix... I'll make you a candy bouquet. Will you come to get it???
I'll take you shopping.

Jo

Morning MAYers!

I feel so bad that I didn't get back on here last night to tell RF good-bye! But I'm sure she knows that all the MAYers are thinking of her and wishing her the best trip ever!!!! :snooty::grouphug::wizard:

Great pics JO! Sounds like everything went perfectly! :thumbsup2

Where is everybody???

Lake - are you out looking at houses? :yay:

It looks as if our deal is going to fall through.

oh Shelly- I'm sorry!! Have you heard that for sure???

Jo

oh Shelly- I'm sorry!! Have you heard that for sure???

Jo

Hi Shelly - Sorry to hear about your deal falling through. I hope someone else comes along makes a offer soon.

Thanks guys.

They are not willing to budge on their offer on the house and just one lot. We are unsure if we would be able to get anything out of the other lot, so we just can not accept what they are offering. It would be different if we had to move, for relocation or finances or something like that, but we can not take a loss to just to get a better location in the same town. You know?

This is all very frustrating!!!

Aww, that's stinky. That is just plain awful.

Well- I'm going to think positive and say that the time wasn't right-- and your other house that you are going to get to buy just isn't ready for you guys yet.

It will sell. God has something good for you guys.

What are your plans this weekend everyone?

Mark and I are going out to dinner with friends tonight- tomorrw we're grilling in the rain. Then Sun of course, mother's day at church--

it feels weird not being in WDW , doesn't it???

Jo

Not sure what's up for the weekend yet. We will probably go somewhere for brunch after Church Sunday. No soccer games for Mother's Day. I don't know why, I would have enjoyed it!

It does feel weird being here this weekend. We are usually getting ready to leave for WDW right about now. Our anniversary is next Friday, so we are planning to head into the city for dinner either Friday or Saturday night, depending on which night my Dad can watch the boys.

Lake - are you out looking at houses? :yay:

No...cleaning out my office shelves... I have backissues of magazines and stuff I don't really want to move... so I'm clearing them out now. I hope to see houses this weekend, and most of next week. We pulled up 10 from the mls website tvat we want to see... and then narrow it down to three maybe.

Well it was an offer , and we didn't refuse.
As long as we pass the house inspection, and they get their financing... I may be moving July 3rd.

I'll admit I am still nervous... we live in an older home, built in 1923... so who knows what they can find with old houses. But at least we have an offer right. I'll think positive.

Thanks for all your support... you guys are the best.

:yay: I'm so Happy for you. Told you the May was your month....

MAYers MAYers where are you???

I am having serious Disney depression today! :sad2: I think it's because Mother's Day and our anniversary are coming up next week and we have been at WDW for the last 2 years for those things! :sad1:

I know what you mean SHelly.... I am really depressed I would be running around going crazy today to leave tommorrow... it's ok there is always next year....

In 23 days.........

I'm going to California.

:scared1:

J.

Yay for your Cali Trip.

hahahaha- Drew was okay with the makeup- his dad- not so much, LOL.

Jo

I'm actually thinking about doing something like this for Mothers day now. We are having a little BBQ in my mothers house on Sunday. So that the Mother's don't have to cook we are just making the men grill stuff.....

RF - Incase you check in... HAVE A GREAT VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
