So I called the Dr. She is the same OB/GYN that delivers the Duggars kids- you know, the couple with 18 kids and counting?

So I called and the nurse wanted me to come in today- but when she checked with the dr- she said they had a patient in labor today- and didn't want to keep me waiting. I immediatley thought "Duggar kid!!!!" and then I said "Ooooh, I'm awful."

Anyway-- tomorrow I go in. I now they are going to send me for a mammo. Gross.


Okay- I'm out of here-- off to Pier one to see some stuff. I made the call! Yay me.

Hope your wedding cake is good! We have our 11th anniversary coming up in a few weeks. This will be the first time in a couple of years that we haven't been at Disney on our anniversary. We were thinking about Mt.Washington for dinner, but are now thinking about going to the Melting Pot at Station Square. Never been there!

We've been to Melting Pot twice and loved it both times!

My favorite part (well, besides dessert, of course) is the broccoli!

We went once to melting pot- the dessert was definately the best part!!!! OMYGOD sooo good! I didn't like the cheese that we got - I wish that we would have got the Mexican one in retrospect.

That's my only tip! Don't get the "beer one" whichever that one was - it was kinda gross

I didn't care for the beer-y cheese, either. I'll have to look at a menu to see the choices again.

I'm not really a cheese and apples kind of girl, but I tried it and it was delicious! So I recommend trying everything, because you may be surprised with what you like.

And about the broccoli...it will be the best broccoli you've ever had, because it takes on so much of the broth flavor. Yum!

We didn't try the broccoli... But I don't think you're wierd Trix. i love broccoli! And peas! LOL. I love all the veggies that everyone hates.

afternoon everyone.

It's raining here.

The Melting Pot- never been.

But mine and Mark's first date was to a fondue place in Chas.
It was called 'Fonduely Yours'. And when he called me to ask me out-- he said he asked me, by mistake, if he could take me to "Fondling Yours" b/c he kept telling himself not to say it.
Of course I was so happy he had called that I totally missed what he'd said - ...and worse- I said "Okay" and was happy about it.


Ahhhh, funny stuff.

We do fondue here at home- only when we have a bigger group b/c it's a pain to organize the pots and cut the stuff up. But I love the cheese fondue- NOT the beer kind. The recipe I use has Guyevre cheese and swiss, I think. Dip it with crusty bread. yum.

I also like chocolate with a Amaretto liqueur with strawberries and poundcake for dessert,
and----- I skip the broccoli all together.

Well, now that I'm salivating... I must go get Drew from practice!

Our realtor is holding and OPEN house here on Sunday.

But between laundry loads, and waiting for the kitchen floor to dry I'll check in often to see what's happening here today.
