Shelly- those pics of the BC are beautiful! IS that the resort- if yo're on the boat going to the Boardwalk from Epcot- is that the resort on your left??? Across sort of from the BW hotel??

I always get so turned around. Did you see the pics of Kidani at the AKV???? Wow. It's beautiful.

Hmm. . . I'm not real sure what that means! But if you walk out of the back entrance/exit (IG) of Epcot and walk for about 5 minutes the BC will be on your right. I haven't seen pictures of Kidani yet. AKL/AKV have never interested me much. I'm sure it is beautiful though, Trixie loved it!

I know, that map is great! I was always confused on how exactly DHS played into the BW area. I knew you could walk from there to DHS but wasn't sure in what direction!

I got that one from somebody on the BC/YC FAQ. . . There is probably one out there for OKW somewhere. I'll look into it!

Hey all... Just caught up with the DIS boy have you guys been busy....

RF - YAY secretly i'm sssooooooo jealous.... but i wish you have a great vacation...

Jo , Sea, Lake, NC, i missed you guys....

life has been so crazy... remember when i went to guatemala for my DGrandma 90th bday party and my cousin was killed and his sister was kidnapped... well she wasn't handling as good as we all thought. She tried to take her life about 3 weeks ago THANK GOD my uncle got to her right away and she was rushed to hospital.. she is now in a mental hospital so we'll see how that goes. Then my DH and Marissa's godfather had a falling out. HUGE... i mean they were ready to fight huge... i've been trying to play mediator with that situation but i have been getting NO WHERE... so i'll just let them sort it out amongst themselves.... catching my breath.... then one of my cousins caught her husband in bed with another woman in their own apartment, she basically tried to kill him i mean literally the cops were called and everything. thank god she never caught up to him to actually stab him so no charges were filed. she basically had to leave their house so she was here with us for a couple of days with her 2 BAD kids.... i'm telling you they were here for 3 days and they broke so many of Marissa's toys but i just left it alone my cousin is going through enough.... i'm telling you my life is so full of DRAMA..... so that is it.....

I'm stressed out just thinking about it again..... sheesh..... how i need a VACATION... i'm telling if i had not canceled out my Dis trip i probably would have gone now....but what can we do i'll wait til next may.....

We arn't exactly set on our May date yet either... we know its' may, and my ticker is for the dates we had all previously chose. But Jason might want to go closer to our may holiday weekend. Which is also the third week.

I just hope that we get a chance to meet some
Mayers when we do go...

It's still over a year away...so obviously we have a long time to decide.
But just thought I'd let you know you are not alone in that decision maybe.

We are unfortunately back to our normal yucky weather. The nice weather sure was great while it lasted!

Kait - you've never been to Station Square??? You've got to go!

Well I got the kids next year school schedule. I was looking for a day off that other schools wouldn't necessarily have off. And I've come up with Mon. Jan 25th and Fri May 7th. So we will be planning for one of those 2 weeks (Jan 23-31 or May 1-9), that way we can go for 8 nts/9 days (Sat to the following Sun) and the kids will only miss 4 days of school. So now that I see that most of the MAYers will be going later in May it looks like we will probably stick with the January plan!

Mari- my gosh- you have really been thru it lately. I hope the drama dies down for you and you can get back to normal soon.

Lake- that's good news about you going later in MAY. My only problem is that, *sigh* Mark's company's annual sales mtg is every May-- and it's always either the third or fourth week in May. Grrrr. We never know until closer to March when it's falling, or where it's being held, for that matter. Soooooooooooo.................... I might not be able to make it there with my friends from SC- and might have to book earlier. It's so far away-- so... We'll see.


Kait-- hope you get to go back to the World soon-- and that your school year finishes with no problems. Good luck on your Final.

YAY for 9 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Today I have to make the phone call I keep putting off and shouldn't. I've got to call and make an appt with my Dr.
I found a lump in my breast.

**Sigh.** I get them frequently---- I've been getting mammo's for a few years now, due to my Mom's Breast cancer. The first time she was dx, she was 34 years old. So-- off to make that call. Yuck.

Then I'm going to go buy more stuff for the deck.

My Mom taught me that whenever you have to do something really revolting that you don't want to do, afterwards, you always, always--- have some retail therapy and then lunch at a swank restaurant to be good to yourself.
Of course, she'd never call it lunch-- the meal in the middle ofthte day is referred to as dinner- and at night, that meal is supp'ah. Said just like that too.
Such a cute Southern lady she is.

Trust me!!!!!!!

I myself just got home from the doctor. I had tests done two weeks ago, and he called yesterday saying he wanted to see me.
Well it turns out that they found something..but not sure how serious that something is... he doesn't want to use the C word just yet. So over the next three months I have several appointments now booked for further testing and discussion. I have decided to tell my brain...no panicing and to go on as usual... plan our fun summer, and weekends at the cottage, and just go forward as usual. Afterall I have already taken all the steps I need to to start taking care of the matter... you know me... always trying to keep that cup half full.

So I'll keep you all posted on it.

As far as next May goes, we won't know either what exact dates we will be going until after Christmas at earliest so there is still hope we will all get to meet.

RF- I wouldn't be able to sit still knowing I was going away in just over a week. But I get excited like that.

Shelly - Do you really find it warm enough for swimming in January. I've just been curious about that. It's the reason going in the winter has never intrigued me. But maybe you could change my mind...

Of our 8 days it was warm enough to swim about 5 of them! Once it hit 80 I was good! The kids would have hit the pools at about 65 degrees! The pools are heated, so that helps too!


It sure is nice getting out of here right in the middle of winter!

Jason and I always talk about going somewhere for the winter...we have just never thought of WDW during that time... we'll ponder the idea.

It was so fun surprising them! DS7 keeps saying that he wants to be surprised again, but next time he doesn't want us to tell him until the day we are leaving!

For us January was a great escape from the PA winter and it was so nice to be able to enjoy Disney without it being so dang hot & humid the entire time!
