Mari- I love the surprise videos! She's such a smart little girl! Her face was too precious when she spotted the Disney store and she started pulling you by the hand- absolutely magical!

NC- Sorry your roof isn't done yet but with those temps I can see why they are waiting!

Not much going on here today. Andrew will be home at 2. Tomorrow is his last day- finally. This week has been dragging.

RF - I am so sorry that your SIL has been through so much lately. We will definitely continue to keep her and your family in our prayers.

What a GREAT start to your trip report Mari! Love the video clips! Can't wait until the next update.

Shelly - I like your plans for 2011. I wouldn't worry about the heat too much. You can always take a break for the pool and then head back to the parks in the evening times. We like to so the opposite of what the crowds are doing, like riding rides during fireworks because the lines are short or even a walk on!

Before the show, he was talking to this lady about WOC and all the stuff Disney has been sharing about the show at the Blue Sky Cellar, D23, passholder magazine, etc. Chris was blabbing to her about it for like 20 minutes. She had never heard about the show, until she arrived at the park two days earlier - LOL. I thought her response to Chris was funny.

Come out and see it with us - it is even better in person!

YIKES!! I guess I shouldn't complain about the upper 80's we are to get later in the week!


I have been keeping an eye on the WDW temps lately. . . Debating on June, August, or Thanksgiving for 2011 so we don't have to take DS11 out of school for too many days. . . It was 99 there on Monday!! And mid to upper 90's the last few weeks. I just don't think we can do it. . . I am going to keep an eye on late August temps, since we don't start school until after Labor Day. But I don't expect that the temps will be much cooler then.

My wife is busily checking on all of our options for a August trip to WDW today. I think we will be booking it by the end of the week.

My boys are excited that we are going back. We are planning to do the water parks this time - that should be nice since it is going to be very warm there.

I was thinking of doing the backstage tour. Has anyone done this?

I finally watched Mari and Sea's video's last night and they are all AWESOME! WOC looks amazing!

I'm really bummed that the MSEP and Nighttastic are going to be gone when I get there. I hope that they go over really well and they keep them! I have only seen Spectro once, but I am getting kind of bored with Wishes. I really hope they decide to keep Nightastic going until I can see it!

So.... on a side note - I am a blonde now! I chopped off all my hair for summer Sometimes I just get really bored and need a change. I used to be a blonde all the time, probably until I graduated and then dyed my hair darker - but I wanted a change and also wanted to look nice for when I get to see my favorite Canadians this weekend!

Beth is doing OK. Thanks for thinking of her everyone. It's going to be a REALLY rough recovery for her, and they're still not done working on her - but it appears that she will pull through.

So.... on a side note - I am a blonde now! I chopped off all my hair for summer Sometimes I just get really bored and need a change. I used to be a blonde all the time, probably until I graduated and then dyed my hair darker - but I wanted a change and also wanted to look nice for when I get to see my favorite Canadians this weekend!

Beth is doing OK. Thanks for thinking of her everyone. It's going to be a REALLY rough recovery for her, and they're still not done working on her - but it appears that she will pull through.

I am so glad Beth is doing Ok... we have been sending many good vibes her way.

A new hairdo for summer is always fun and rejuvinating...can't wait to see it tomorrow in Ohio. YIPPEE!!!!! Jason and I are looking forward to our getaway, and hanging out with you two as well.

My wonderful hero of a miltary brother and his equally amazing miltary wife have been transfered from CFB (Canadian Forces Base) EDMONTON to CFB TORONTO.

So instead of a 4 day drive, they will only be a 4 hour drive away. My entire family will be back in Ontario by July 2. yes we will still be spread out, but this is so much better.

I will get to watch my niece and soon to be niece or nephew (due in august) grow up.

That is awesome NC. The EL Cap is also showing it in 3D and there is special Fun Zone after the movie. It should be a blast!
