Hi all. Well... it's been slow around here. I haven't been on in a week and it look me about 5 minutes to get caught up!

How was everyone's Christmas? Mine was great! We were supposed to have freezing rain, but it just was rainy so we were able to make it everywhere that we needed to be and had such a fun time with our family and friends. And Bob got me tickets to go and see 'Forever Plaid' next weekend! It's a really good show - I saw it when they 1st came 5 years ago.

Monny - Ugh. SOOOOOO sorry about the credit card thing. I feel your pain. That just happened to Bob and I about 6 months ago. Someone SOMEHOW got his debit/credit card info and charged $380 somewhere in New York at a gas station. We overdrew our account and had a ton of late bills because of it. It was a nightmare. I was so furious. We work really hard for our money and don't have much of it, so that really really hurt us.

Hello Mayer Friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday.

Although we shed a few tears and our hearts missed our recently lost loved ones, we had a beautiful Christmas. Family traditions need to continue and be pursued. Life will always bring changes and yet, we can still keep our traditions alive - they remind us of our identity and draw us closer together.

I will have to tell you a funny story later about the egg nog. Off to lunch!

Speaking of eggnog, I had my very first taste of eggnog last night at my in-laws. Yummy! Love it!

Sea - I agree about traditions needing to be continued and pursued by the younger generations. It is sort of the glue that continues to bind the family together.

RF- Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas. And you have a wonderful show to look forward too!

So my SIL goes into our kitchen and starts pour eggnog into a cup...somehow, she knocks over the cup while still pouring it and now it is gushing, down the side of the cupboard, drawers, and onto the floor. What a mess. So she says "I will clean it up - I hand her a roll of paper towels and tell her to make sure there isn't any eggnog in the drawer or cupboard. . After they left and go home, my wife goes to the cupboard to get some small bowls to put leftovers in - the bowls are full of eggnog. Aaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!!

My kids were VERY shocked when they found out about the Disney trip. I don't think they understand that it is so close. Andrew keeps asking me how old he will be and when I tell him that he will still be 5 he doesn't get it. It's slowly starting to sink it. They took off another link this morning from their countdown chains and I got out the suitcases. Then he got all excited!

I've been trying to post pics and an update on my PTR but am not allowed for some reason. I can edit previous posts on it but can't quote anyone or make a new post. Weird.
