Hey all...
well i decided on Coral Reef.... but that is because plans changed.... i was able to get a tusker house at AK but on the day i had planned on going to Epcot so i switched days and I was still able to get lunch for coral reef on the new day.... I Love Le Cellier but Marissa would LOVE having lunch at Coral.... so i have to post my updated plans....
12 days left.... woohoo

At Lena's school, they have all the teachers fill out a form of what they like to do and enjoy so that the parents and executive staff have some ideas for gifts and stuff. Maybe your school or the PTA has something like that too.

The Toy Story Mania Meet Up!
Got to the park around 4:45 pm - very light traffic from LA, it only took an hour to get down there. We shared nachos from Tortilla Jo's at DTD, then headed over to the Esplande to check in.
Checking in...
Got our wristbands, name tags and gift bags...
Inside the gift bags were two cookies...aren't they awesome?
And a "never before, exclusive release" pin!
They walked us into DCA and went to the "Drawing to the Magic" stage for a group picture...
And some special guests were invited to join us in the group picture...we got to be in the front with Lotso and Woody!

Next up...lecture with Imagineer Kevin Rafferty at the Animation building.
They held the lecture in the Animation Academy room. What a great place!
They first started with a preview of Toy Story 3 to get everyone pumped up. Then Heather, the DPB publicist came onstage to moderate the lecture with Kevin. Heather and Kevin were really great and fun. Kevin has LOTS of energy and really loves his job.

Kevin came up with the idea and concept of the ride. Everything you experience on that ride is new technology for the amusement industry. I have video too that I will post later so you can get a taste of Kevin and his enthusiasm he has for Disney. 32 years with Disney, worked on Epcot, DCA, TDL, - built Test Track, Winnie the Pooh, Finding Nemo, and so much more.
Kevin showed us concept art for TSMM...
As you can tell, if you have rode TSMM some the original ideas have been modified greatly and some never made into the ride. The last piece of art is the new game "Dino Darts" which was added last week.

After the lecture, we walked over to TSMM
We only got to ride it once through because Grad Nite was going to start up in about hour.
As we were walking back over the pier, they were testing the water screens for WOC.
They then walked use back out the park through the GCH exit. We said our goodbyes and thank yous to Heather and the CMs as we left. What a great time!!!
We headed over to Disneyland and bumped into a guy I spotted at the event. He is the highest scorer on TSMM. 559,000! He is 17 years old. LOL!
Kevin told us that the computers tell them that there are people who are pulling the shooter cable 9-10 times a second!!!
I think this guy is one of them! He also told us the other part of the "easter egg" secret that I half way figured out. We rode BLAB together with him and then we decided it was time to leave because I was getting hungry and had a small headache. I just needed to eat!
Dinner was at one of favorites near DLR...
Lena had the Santa Fe salad. She said the peanut cilantro dressing and chicken on it was excellent.
I had their filet - very good and tender. A winner in my book.
We took home a slice of Godiva cheesecake...so no picture. Got home about 11:30, exhausted but very happy! We had a blast!!!
Hopefully, I will have some time tonight to edit and post up the video.

Hey all....
Just got home... Had to go pick up some stuff at target... I got home and guess what i found in my mailbox.... Disney Mail.... woohoo.... so sad they don't send the plastic sleeve anymore.... but yay got my confirmations... just waiting on the ME tags....

Evening all... just walked in from a family bbq. Once of my cousins graduated college so an excuse for all of us to get together. Let me tell you guys my family is a little on the cookoo side... my Aunt brought out her Karaoke machine and started singing... it was soooo funny.... but it was a great bbq. except for when my brother's wife asked me what i had planned for out Dis trip and I shushed her so fast.... she forgot that it is a surprise for Marissa.... sheesh that too close for comfort.... and we have another family bbq tommorow.... it's one of my other cousins babyshower..... i'll keep my fingers crossed....
Nc- LOVE the new tickler... .YAY 1 month left....
Lake - no plastic sleeve just a little booklet.... but i still have my sleeve from about 2 years ago so i got that one out and smelled it... LOL..... don't we just love Dis.

Well i have another family bbq to go to but this one is in my mother's house. So it won't be that bad.... I have to get our bathing suits out since we will be poolside the whole day.... well maybe i'll include some shopping in there somewhere... LOL....

She has NO idea..... whenever the commercials come on for WDW all she does is looks at me....sometimes she says to me mom I wish we could go..... but i cannot wait until we are landing in MCO and i tell her.... I'm gonna record it and post it for you guys....
