I was so sure I'd posted before this - where have I been??!!!

You're so close now - nearly single digit dance time!!! It will be amazing to see all the decorations - the castle is SPECTACULAR at night (I cannot emphasise that enough), it is all fairy lights and looks like crystal. It literally took my breath away when I first saw it!

You have to visit Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe - I went a bit overboard in there this trip. I came out and said to DH "I didn't spend as much as i thought - only $86!". He just turned very pale and walked me away from it very quickly - I'd only been in for 5 mins!

We did go back the last day and bought a personalised bauble, I think we'll do that every trip from now on.

Hi again!

It's crazy that in just a couple days we'll be in the single digits. I am beyond excited. Oh, I agree about the castle. Last year I saw a video of the first castle lighting and when they finally got to the part where they lit it I got tears in my eyes. It was just so magical! And then when we saw it in person...WOW. Can't wait to see it again!

It sounds like the Ye Old Christmas Shoppe is the place to go! I hope you post pics of what you got in your TR.

So I am excited for tomorrow for 3 reasons:

1.) It is Friday

2.) St. Nick comes tomorrow night

3.) Only 11 days until Disney World and Mickey Mouse!

Seriously, I am just bursting with excitement lately. There are so many things I'm looking forward to...even the little things:
Getting to the airport early in the morning and looking for other people with ME tags on their luggage

seeing how many people at our gate are going to Disney too

Arriving in Orlando to (hopefully!) warm weather

The Magical Express bus ride and driving through the gates

Waking up that first morning and heading to the MK for extra magic hours

seeing all the Christmas decorations

Taking pictures!

Shopping

People-watching and seeing first timers' reactions on rides

Wow I am obsessed.

ONLY TEN DAYS UNTIL DISNEY WORLD!!!!!


So it's the last time for my old pictures. I thought I'd post two for this one:
Me meeting Mickey for the first time in 1991.

And then a much more recent one from our trip last December/January. This was taken on New Year's Day after Dad, Emma, and I got back from the Capital One Bowl. We went to the MK to see Spectromagic and Wishes. I love it because it's in front of the beautiful castle and it's the whole family! It was also nice to celebrate Michigan's victory over Florida.

I am so looking forward to the dream lights again. So pretty!

Here's the last must-do list too:

Animal Kingdom Must-Dos
Expedition Everest...we all love this ride. So much fun. I am going to try to not cover my eyes when we see the Yeti...

Festival of the Lion King...saw this in January for the first time in several trips and really enjoyed it. I have the soundtrack on my ipod and I've been listening to it so now we have to go see it again.

Kilimanjaro Safaris...another one of my favorites.

Rafiki's Planet Watch...we went back there for the first time during our May trip but we didn't spend a lot of time there. I'd love to go back and look around some more even though I know Emma will hate it (she doesn't really like Animal Kingdom other than EE )

It's Tough to Be a Bug...another show we haven't seen in a while. Maybe because I hate it when all the bugs are exiting the theater. But I'll go see it again.

Can't believe tomorrow we'll be in the single digits!

OK, so I got around to uploading the picture of my pin wreath. What do you think?

St. Nick also visited on Friday night . Look what my mom...err, St. Nick gave me:

I put them on my little Christmas tree I have in my room. See how many other Disney ornaments you can spot. There's quite a few!

Emma and I also went outside before to take some pictures. Here's some of our outside decorations...nothing too extravagant but still cute!

We can't wait to leave the snow and ice behind for a few days. More snow is on the way...I really hope it doesn't snow the day we're supposed to leave. I'm trying to stay positive about it though. Almost 8 days!

Thanks! The ornaments are one of the Hallmark miniature sets from this year. As soon as I saw them I knew I needed to add them to my collection.

It's hard to believe it's almost here!! I'm so looking forward to getting out of Wisconsin for a few days. I am already sick of the snow and it's only the beginning of December!

I am definitely going to be bringing home a few more decorations. My mom has a bunch of her decorations up but we don't have our tree yet.

Only one week to go...7 short days away!!! I am sooo excited but you all probably knew that already. It's been snowing all day here (again) but luckily it hasn't accumulated too much. Like I said I can't wait to get away from this yucky winter weather for a week. The forecast for Orlando is saying sunny and in the 70s each day. Hopefully that holds true!
