There's no place like "home" for the holidays...*updated 3/18 p. 43 and 44*

You're welcome. :) I really really want that song! LOL.

Yeah, I'm excited. After seeing some pictures of the tour I'm not sure I'll bother going, but it is just downtown so it's not like it would be a big waste of time trying to get there.

Yea I saw some of the pictures and it seems really simple. But I would still love to go! I want to get one of those balloons :lmao:

hahahaha yeah, I really want a balloon too. That will be my sole reason for going!

I guess I should expect getting sick being around so many kids. LOL. I am hoping that once the weekend's over I'll feel better. *fingers crossed*

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that you're coming down with a cold. Hopefully it's all gone by the time you have to go back to work!

Whispering Canyon Cafe is so much fun! We went there for the 1st night back on our trip in 2006 and LOVED it!

Sorry you are feeling under the weather... it is nice that you worked a solid week though. That means more money for WDW!!
Don't forget to call for WCC soon. I need you to screen it for me and make sure we will enjoy it. :rotfl:
Seriously though I know you and your dd and ds will have a blast there and I can't wait to hear of your adventures!

Hi Becx N Gav

Glad to see another HSM fan
Dr_Finkelstein do you mind me asking (roughly) how old you are? I'm just interested in the fan base, I feel a bit old myself (28 next month) but it's good to know there are other grown ups that love HSM

I'm, 36, nearly 37!
You have to understand though, I was brainwashed into liking these films - I've been forced to watch them repeatedly on Sky + and to listen to the CDs whenever I take the kids anywhere in the car.
However, I did watch Camp Rock yesterday, and, have to say, good as it was, I'm not feeling the love.....

Thanks. I went to bed really early last night and I have to say that I do feel a bit better already. :)

Ohh, that's so cool. Is it really cheesy there? Not that I mind...What types of stuff did they have to eat?

Yup, more money=:cool1: . I've actually started a little Disney fund because I have so much change lying around that I'll plan on cashing before we go. I may have to add a little to that...

I'll let you know when (and if) we get anything for WCC. ;) But you are right, we're going to have a great time. I can't wait any longer!!

Hope you get better quick. Snotty kids will do it to you every time!:lmao:

haha, don't I know it! :rotfl:

I have to agree with this about Camp Rock. I definitely prefer HSM. Though I do like a couple of the songs, mainly the one Jonas Brothers song.

Good morning everyone!

The countdown reaches 80 days today, woo hoo! That means it's time for another old picture. I thought that in honor of the new celebration being announced, I'd share a picture from a previous celebration...Disney World's 25th anniversary! We went over our spring break in 1997 and got to see the lovely castle cake. I remember thinking it was so cool at the time and then when we went back in 1999 I was kind of mad that it was back to its original glory. Though I have no idea why! :confused3 :rotfl: I remember the parade and the theme song for it..."Remember the Magic." :goodvibes

Did anybody else go during the 25th anniversary celebration?

Hey Sarah! All caught up here - I'm glad to get in on your report this time before you actually go!

Love all the "old" pictures you've been posting. I visited WDW during the
25th annivesary celebration - I had a t-shirt for the longest time with that awful castle cake on it! I think I liked it at the time though!

Looking forward to more. :)

80 days!!!!!
Hope you're feeling better now, I had a bad dose of the cold beginning of the week, it really brings you down
When I have bad cold I lose my appetite, and I hate when that happens! :headache:
Love the photo of the castle as a cake - completely mental, but fab! :wizard:

I would've loved to have seen the cake as a castle. I'm not sure how long I would've liked it though. I can't imagine making that transformation from regular to pink cake. :cake:

Whispering Canyon is just a whole bunch of fun! If your server is really into it, it makes it that much better. I would say the food is like BBQ... Meats, mashed potatoes, corn, etc etc. They have your average chicken tenders & stuff like that also. Yall will have alot of fun!

80 days!!!! Yayyyyyyyy!

Hi! Glad you decided to join in on my PTR. :)

That castle cake was something else. :rotfl: I hope they don't ever do anything like that again. :scared:

I am feeling a lot better. I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well either. :guilty: I'll sometimes lose my appetite when I'm sick too but fortunately that didn't happen now. It was nice to have the weekend to rest. :)

I would've loved to have seen the cake as a castle. I'm not sure how long I would've liked it though. I can't imagine making that transformation from regular to pink cake. :cake:

Yeah, it was quite a sight. It would have been interesting to see it during the in-between stages when it's half-pink, half-normal.

I'm glad you're feeling better!

Me too. :thumbsup2

Ohhh sounds good. I really hope we are able to get something during our trip. Otherwise I guess it'll just be something on my (long) list of things I'd like to do some day.

Hello again everyone! :wave2:

So this is not directly trip-related, but I went to the mall today with Mom and Emma and the Christmas store was open!  Of course I had to take a peek in there (I loooooove Christmas decorations) and look what I picked up:

I know it's not Disney but isn't it cute?! :goodvibes It's kind of crazy that the Christmas store is already open, but I guess that means December is right around the corner. :yay: :yay: :yay: I can't believe it's going to be October this week!

79 days!

Yeah of course ...... you've been brainwashed ;) Although I think DH would use that as his defense :rotfl: and I'm quite happy to brainwash him :thumbsup2

I agree about Camp Rock, it just doesn't have the same appeal. Did like a couple of songs but it just wasn't musical enough (or half as funny :lmao: Ryan and Sharpay are just the best :worship: ) I'm really looking forward to seeing HSM3, my credit card has been charged and we have 2 tix booked for the 8pm show on the 24th :woohoo: The song they've previewed on DC - with Ryan and Sharpay in pink - looks so cool :yay:

I would have loved to see the castle as a cake, looks good enough to eat :rotfl: Congrats on 79 days, they're going so much faster now than at first :woohoo:

I'm so glad you got a good job, hope you have recovered and don't catch anything else  I was sick (flu like symptoms) for about 2 weeks, these things can be hard to shake

Just finished reading your first PTR & TR from May & decided to jump onboard your 2nd PTR. I am enjoying it. The pictures of you and your sisters when you were younger are so adorable.

I cannot wait until my countdown to my trip to Disney reaches the double digits!

Cute snowmen! I love Christmas decorations, too! :goodvibes The Ye Old Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom is close to impossible to resist!

The Christmas store was open?!?! :scared1: It just seems so early. I thought it was bad when I went to Target yesterday and behind the Halloween section they had a mini selection of Christmas stuff out. Love your little snowmen though! 78 more days now!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
