There were 3 tornados here on friday

3 tornados in Indy on friday. From Martinsville up. One is more than enough thank you, but 3??

The one that hit the East side caused some damage to houses less than 1 mile from my 9 yo son's elementary school while school was in session.

Did any touch down close to you? Tornados are so scary!!!

So gald you were OK. I watched it on the TV as the twisters swept through.

Indyman, I saw that damage. It was pretty rough. My dd's bf lives over there and I had to make a big detour around it.

Boots, relatively speaking, none hit close to me. But the other side of town is toooo close for my comfort. My dd was in school over there too, but the storm was a little farther out.

I don't think I could live in the mid-west.

Kalli, I'm pretty sure most places have some kind of weather that they have to worry about. I don't know what I would do with hurricanes, or earthquakes.

We were driving through Indy on our way to Ohio on friday when they hit. We were on I65 and they closed it and we were put on 465 and they closed it. We got off to go eat at the new Cheeseburger in Paradise rest. and that was right in the area where there was a lot of damage. Did anyone get hurt ?

That would be scary. But, no no one got seriously hurt. I guess the policeman that thought he saw someone flying through the air was mistaken.

No one got hurt that I know.

Now for the important stuff, we heard that a Hooters restaurant was damaged on RTE 31 any word on that?

Um, I'm terribly sorry. But Hooters wasn't at the top of my concerns. I have to get back with you on that. I'll see what I can find out for ya.

Serena, upstate NY is probably one of the most natual disaster safe places in the country, come on up! No earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados, floods, etc. The only thing we have (which we haven't the last five years or so) is snow and lots of it. That only hurts if you go out and drive badly in it!

Serena on the news they said there were 4 tornados. It becomes confusing when the news stations give inacurate info.

I hadn't heard that, and yes it is confusing. I'll turn on the news this morning and see what they say today.

Steve, so far no info on Hooters. Maybe if you ask really nice I can go make a personal inspection of the place and report back to ya this weekend.

I'm not going in however. Those hooters you'll have to inspect yourself.
