There Must Be a Glitch When Booking New Rates Online

I am putting in 4/1 to 4/5 one adult, one infant one child. Pop century. The price comes up in the $900 range. Then when I take the Park Hopper option off, it increases to over $2,000! Weird!!

I really do not get it at all. Is anyone else having this problem? I just did a quote for a mod and the price is MUCH more WITHOUT the park hopping option. When I add park hopping the price goes DOWN! Is this a new thing? I don't want to book with park hopping and then have them change the price on me.

I was also noticing a glitch yesterday when I switched between a 4 day and a 5 day park hopper it added somewhere around $2000.

Adding 2 adult, 2 child 5 day base tickets $4006

At that rate we will only be staying in our room and watching that horrid what to do at WDW channel!!!!!!!! Heck, even that channel may have gone to PPV with those kind of rates!!

I read somewhere yesterday that they didn't have everything on the site totally updated yet and wouldn't for a couple of days. I know when I first started checking nightly rates at WL, it came up at $115/night Obviously, they're still working on it.

The website has still been wacky for me too. I was looking for 2008 AKL rates and it was showing me nothing but AKL DVC and they were between 100-200 a night. A bargain? At Disney? It must be a mistake!

And you would have received a phone call within 2 weeks! (They don't honor "glitches" -- even those paid in full -- and that's all I'm going to say about that!)

Unfortunately, when you actually try to book it, it reverts to the correct price (or at least something that seems to be correct). I was just playing around with it to see what came up. Some things are working better today than yesterday, so it's slowly but surely coming along.

I'm concerned that there's NO garden view at Poly any time after Thanksgiving 2008, and ONLY theme park view and lagoon view club level after 12/7! I had really hoped to go then instead of September next year. I'd love to see the Christmas decorations , but that's just too much money..

Don't give up - keep trying! Have you called Disney Travel or only checked availability online? (could be another "glitch" they're working on )

Not yet. I thought I'd give the system a few days to get caught up with all the updates and look for the best deals. I do have AAA, so that will be helpful.

Poly & AKL are the last two resorts on my list to try out before I take my kids and grandkids, so I'll go whenever I can get both resorts at a fairly reasonable price. I'm a little leery of December anyway since I won't enjoy it if it's cold. I know that's rare, but it happens
