I got a rate quote for both with dining, and room only. We are AP holders. I WILL need to buy a 1 day pass for us because we are using a pin code, at least that's what this cm said. If anyone could confirm that, I'd appreciate it.

When I called disney to ? the prices they told me the code I supplied was not for July. I told them I'm looking at the email. The made me read it like 8 times to them and kept putting me on hold. The guy asked me does it have mickey on a machine called fluffy? I said yes and he said thats not for July dates. I said well it says it does and quoted him the dates on my email.

He said something like its for jan and feb. This went on for over 45 mins and back and forth with supervisors. I kept asking do you want me to fax it or email it so you can SEE it? Finally they asked me.....4 days ago to fax over which we did. We keep calling about it and we keep being told they are looking into it

Its a 15 digit pin code five numbers at a time

Has anybody called and actually about to use your code? I finally get a code and now I'm being told it cant possible have July dates on it.

So now I'm just waiting for somebody to get back to me. I just keep getting the run around now.

Sounds like the pin went to folks with ressies already in the system. Did any one get the e-mail who doesn't have a ressie yet? My theory has always been to wait until I get the discount to book the room. I figure that if we all book our room before the discount, why would they need to give us a discount??

of course i called disney just to see???? but no, no code for me. but the very nice cm told me 2-3 times just to keep checking the wdw website that maybe there would be a general public code come out. so was he trying to tell me something???

arrrgh. I just called without a pin or code but no luck. Could not get a better rate. I will be down there during the time that you all got the deal for. The thing that annoys me is that they have an old email. I must have fixed it last year at least 6 times in Aug (I kept changing my ressie during free dining) and 2x last week and when I called they still have the old email address. How can they mail me a confirmation with the new email but still have the old one on file when I call. I know I missed that deal I just know it.

I haven't received a Disney Destination email in a long time. I will have to check to see if they have my correct email. I am planning on going in July.

I called this morning to have them check the four adults that our going in our party (DH, me, & my parents). Low and behold my dad had the one that just expired and the new one. He never got an email about either one. But the great representative (Hannah) applied the new pin code to both of our reservations. Our new rate for WL courtyard view is $244 / night. Sorry I didn't ask about any other resorts, it was complicated enough the way it was. So keep checking. Also, I am hoping that AP rates might be on the horizon because when I first asked about discounts for the time that we would be there (6/10 - 6/18) she said that AP & Florida resident rates were not out yet. Now I know that they don't find out about the rate until they are release but maybe they know that they are coming. Who knows how it really works? Good luck to all that need a code.

I thought, or maybe wished, the same thing about AP rates. Since these new codes are coming out, maybe AP rates are right around the corner. I wish they would, I am like a psycho waiting for them, checking in first thing in the AM, several times a day, last thing before bed, geesh!! I need some peace of mind!!

Yes, they are one in the same and I always get the emails from Disney Destinations. Don't give up hope you may get one soon!

I would call back and talk to a different CM and see what happens. The lady I spoke with had a hard time finding my discount but she did eventually locate it. It makes no sense to me that they would send you a code now that isn't good until next Jan or Feb - that would be pretty unusual. Have they even released the rack rates for next year yet?

For those of you hoping for a general public code - when the CM finally got my pin code to come up she referred to it by a 3 letter code. As most of us know, that is usually how they "name" their codes so maybe this one will be going public soon.

Oh, fwiw, we had made a ressie for June and then cancelled. Before I cancelled I kept getting emails telling me they had a special deal for me that turned out to be rack rate (who do they think they're dealing with ). After I cancelled I got one with an actual discount. Mine started off the same as some of the other posters described - "We're so glad you're coming back in June, blah, blah, blah." So, based on my experience, I would say maybe call and get some quotes or something but try to hold off on making a reservation. Hope this helps someone.

The email I got seems different than what other's have gotten. I have no "fluffy" in mine.
It's subject is "Disney Resort Savings for the XXXX Family!
The body says "We’ve created a wonderful way for your family to have a fantastic vacation at the place Where Dreams Come True!"
On the side it lists mods at $154 and select disney deluxe villas at $204. Below it says "Available for stays most nights 5/26/08–7/3/08 and 7/6/08–8/2/08." and "You can also enjoy our other Disney Resort hotels, too! Just ask when you call."

Also, my rates seem a bit better too. After taxes and fees it's $212 a night for standard AKL. That's about $189 a night. The total before the code was $1,8something.. now it's $1275. I'm saving $581 for 6 nights.. almost $100 per night.

Notice the dates say to 7/3/08. Well my dates are 6/28 - July 4th, and I booked with no problem. Maybe the last day costs more than the other's? She didn't say so, and the price is still good.. so I'm happy.

I never had a reservation booked for this. I was waiting and hoping for an AP rate. I DID go into disney travel/disney destination.. whatever the disney website is officially called, and priced out my dates. Several times!..lol. Different rooms, and I had saved them too. Maybe that helped in getting the code?

I am so happy about this code! I was hoping to be able to take DD to AKL again, but I just couldn't quite get the price I needed. The discount I got is a huge help! I had to book. Now I just need to ebay a little bit more so I have spending money again..lol.
